My debt busting diary!

9 days til payday....... Can't wait!!!!!
Expenses came through this morning and have sent them straight to the credit card. Unfortunately as the expenses were incurred on the card it makes no difference to my debt busting.
Weigh in yesterday and I'd stayed the same - more effort definitely needed on that one!
Need to order some dog food as I don't think they'll have enough to see them through to payday but other than that should be a nice low spend day.0 -
Need pay day to hurry up

Accounts not looking too great but hopefully should stretch til the end of the week.
Friday marks the start of my new budget. Not sure how well it's going to work, think it's gonna take a bit of juggling at first, but fingers crossed it'll be worth it in the long run.
Swagged another £5 amazon so this will go into the Christmas pot and that's about as exciting as it gets lol!0 -
Friday and payday at last :j
Time for Aprils scores and once again they're not good
Credit card was £2433.08 now £2203.77
Overdraft was 79.32 now 466.64
Total increase =£158.01
Swagged £10
Weight loss tbc........
Have transferred required amounts into each of my budgeting accounts.
Worked out that for my budgeting to work I needed an additional £360 prior to August to ensure everything is covered.
Had made a nice long list of items to eBay next free listing day in order to raise this, however after submitting my meter reading and realising that I'm £350 in credit after the winter bills, I've asked them to refund it. This will cover the shortfall and the items can still be sold and paid towards the debt :T
Jobs for the weekend......
1. Tackle garden - resembles a jungle at the mo
2. Sort garage - got a few bits that can be listed on local fb page
3. Tidy house
4. Dig out the 30 day shred DVD
Looks like I'm in for an exciting weekend

Oh, that 30 day shred thing is a killer! I consider myself reasonably base-line fit with all the horse and dog looking after, but I can't do that for two days in a row, never mind 30!0
-
Completed day 1 of the 30 day shred on Tuesday and wow did I know about it! Didn't have chance for day 2 yesterday as was at an aerobic class anyway so have got it to look forward to tonight! If it works it'll be worth it tho....
Made a payment to the credit card which brings the total to £2000, hoping to pay at least another £200 before the end of the month.
All my budgeting accounts have now been funded for the month - have to say I do feel more in control knowing that the money's there for when I need it. Fingers crossed we're disciplined enough not to dip into it later in the month.
Received my refund on the gas and electricity which has gone straight into the vet bill account. Will cover the annual boosters and dentist for the boys next month and it will also mean that the money is there should the vet want to run more bloods on the patient! Was hoping they'd put the monthly payments down, but no I've had an email saying that they'll be staying the same
Have a good day x0 -
Nothing much to report. Listed a few items on eBay over the free listing weekend - no bids as yet but we'll wait and see. Managed to swag another £5 agc, seems to be getting increasingly harder.0
-
Grrrr put 1.5lb on this week - making a total of 4.5 increase from my lowest weigh in  only got myself to blame. My heads just not been in it lately, however just when I decide I need to get myself back on track it looks like the groups closing! Never mind!
Popped to the gym last night and have a class tonight - determined to get back on track. If class does close, would be nice to have the willpower to do it alone without having to pay £5 a week to stand on somebody else's scales!
Paid another £100 off the credit card yesterday - must keep chipping away at it. Think I've got another 2 months on 0% interest so may need to start looking for a new balance transfer deal. Will have to weigh up what'll cost me more - the BT fee or interest......
Got a pile of stuff in the corner of the spare room ready for car booting. There's probably loads more lying round the house too, need to get on a de cluttering mission!
Just noticed my sigs all out of date since the goal post changed - will have to put that right.0 -
Transferred most the balance of the cc onto a 0% deal yesterday. The fee is slightly less than the interest and it also buys me some time so it's a win win.
Nothing else really to report- just keeping plodding on.....0 -
Had quite a successful weekend on eBay and managed to make around £60 on 4 items, 3 of which had been listed multiple times. Was made even better when they all paid within 5 minutes of auction end :T
So they've all been packaged and were sent yesterday.
Have decided to give SW a miss for the time being - it's just becoming a waste of money as really am not feeling it at the minute. Have signed up to weightwatchers online to give that a go instead. Cost £11.95 to sign up for a month and I've had £15 track in my TCB, so in reality I'm getting paid £3 to try it! We'll see how it goes.
TCB currently standing at just less than £170 and swagged another £5 agc for the present pot. Just need to try and persevere with onepoll to hit the £40 - I'm just over half way there.....0 -
Hmm, that WW TCB deals sounds interesting.
. Well done on fleabay, I've been rubbish at it recently and I think today is the day we wave goodbye to the 100 free listings.
I'm finding Onepoll very slow, I'm at about £25 now. I get screened out of lots of surveys, I think they are looking for parents. It's kind of ironic when I'm in debt due mainly to paying for unsuccessful IVF treatment! I've never tried Swagbucks though - it pays in Amazon vouchers doesn't it?0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37
AFD March 2/15 NSD March 2/11 :T
Other debts paid since 1/1/14: £17,0050
