My debt busting diary!

Finally reached the £40 payout on onepoll :j been painful but it should hopefully hit my paypal account soon!
Managed to list 6 items on eBay last night - fingers crossed for some sales.
I've decided to set myself a challenge - my own take on the 1 debt v 100 days. I've allocated myself a set number of days to attack each debt and set it out on a spreadsheet. I'm hoping by breaking it down into smaller chunks it'll help keep me focussed. Cc2 is focus no1 as I'm now paying interest on it. If all goes according to plan should clear it all by end of April - fingers crossed.
So tasks for remainder of week.....
1. Pick up copy of mirror for Aldi voucher
2. Stock take of freezer, meal plan & write shopping list
3. Food shopping
4. Get garden in reasonable state
5. Get slow cooker on the go for soup for next weeks lunches0 -

Well done on 1poll, I'm about £2 away now. It is slow but I tend to find it easy so will keep at it. Keep forgetting about swagbucks but had a good day today and having recently spent my first £5 (on cleaning products ) I can see the benefit. Good idea to use it for pressies.
Ooh soup is a good idea, weather really changing now, up here at least. Soup will soon be back on the cards.0% card was £1126.91 / Now £1502.37

Hi MFM! Hope you and the neds are ok. I'm beginning to default into hibernation mode hence the soup - definitely makes a welcome change from the salad that I've been trying to live off! Swag$ seem to have been really kind to me lately and I've found it quite easy to hit target. Apparently onepoll payment can take upto 28 days to reach you - I'm hoping it won't be that long!0

If you fall off get back on
Same applies to getting rid of debt, just think where you'd be if you hadn't bothered to do anything in the first place. Horses are an addiction, when they're in your blood that's where they stay, regardless of how the bank account looks. Imagine each debt is a jump......clear it lol£250 shopping, diesel and any other spends
December 16- January 15 £345.06/250.00 -£95.06
£2 saving a day for christmas 2017 £0/£730
Total debt paid off before 26 December 2017 £3142.31/14,053.85 = £10911.54 left to go0 -
I like your logic cwtchie. Could never imagine life without my boys or not having to drag myself out of bed at 4:30am every morning to sort them before work. Yes it's an expensive hobby but I think the trick is distinguishing between what the horse needs and what you want! My big lad spent years sporting pink rugs because they were good quality but had been reduced to half the price of more macho colours!0

Grrr - why does Monday come around so quick.
Feel absolutely exhausted, but worth it I guess as its been a pretty productive weekend. Got a lot of horsey jobs done that I've been meaning to do for ages to set things up for winter. Did a big aldi shop using the mirror voucher - got all my staples in for the month and a small Mr T order to stock up on things they'd got on offer and some of their value bits we use. Also started winter proofing the gardens - will finish off next weekend.
In mse news - spent last night listing bits on eBay. 20 items, one bid and a handful of watchers. Nothing big listed just aload of clothes, but hopefully get a few extra pennies to chuck at the cc.
Day 4 of Scatty's debt busting challenge - Rounded down my personal account this morning, so £3.21 paid off cc2.0 -
Day 4 - another quick update....
Arrived home to find the cheque from the pet insurance £125, have paid this straight off the cc. Also managed to sell an item on eBay - another £12.36 off the card. Total for day 4 = £141.41 :j
Swagged another £5gc - another one in the pot for Christmas0 -

Lol thanks mfm! It's just a case of multi tasking during the soaps. Typically just do a couple of surveys a night to reach target, but they soon add up.
So day 6 of scatty's debt busting challenge......
Rounded down personal account by £4.86
Have a couple of ebay items finishing tonight. One has a small bid, the other doesn't - but it's easy enough to relist now the donkey works done. The other items finish at the weekend, a couple have bids but still plenty of time for more to roll in - fingers crossed!0
