Taking something on belief is as unscientific as accepting something on a hunch, or because Dave down the pub said so.
It is almost a faith in itself to think that everything is neatly organized and can be explained.
Faith is very important to many. Not because it explain why an apple falls to the ground, but because it tries to answer some very fundamental questions about ourselves.0 -

My point was that its hard to say a whole religion or group is intellectual (or perhaps is not).
