I know how you feel Littleskintdragon. I tried with the paint, realised it wasn't going to happen. So will have to put down a rug for now and a new carpet at some point. The only good thing is it is a very low quality carpet that came with this place, I would call it spray on carpet personally so just some motivation to actually replace it.
Be careful with keeping things down low - I think its training to not keep things at baby level.0 -
Hi Redpete - how does one move to the correct location?Broke a glass of coke in daughters room while sorting out her cupboards and then while tidying that a tin of gloss tipped all over the carpet.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

Messy indeed. Right at the door too so can't even put something over it.
Plus note the room is now tidy and clean - bar the carpet.
She's been at my mums this weekend, I need to go and confess shortly. I feel like I'm about to get told off by the head teacher.0 -
Happy monday.
Todays task is to continue with the declutter, a fair whack has been removed or recycled. Then if my bank card doesn't turn up in the final corner it shall be cancelled. Then to concentrate on paying some money towards something - anything.0 -
Card cancelled, rubbish out, house feeling fresh and ready.
Had a bit of a girly day yesterday, lunch with a friend, tea with daughter, dinner with a different friend.

Ah, you had ME - Post Viral Chronic Fatigue. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis
How is it now? My wife had/has it, and it brought us both to our knees.
Much better now, after 7 years, but still there, making life more complicated.0
