    Dear Diary,

Rollercoaster of emotions this evening. I'm overtired, hungry and as it's payday tomorrow I decided to pre plan budgets. Also owe Council tax from last month in error and had to buy car street permit before it gets towed away. Made me realise that I'm up s*^t creek and while yes I can eat, pay bills etc it would leave me £20 spare until next payday in another 4 weeks.
Was ready to have a meltdown quite frankly as I thought I was on top of things.

Well...I did some careful shuffling and then remembered that this month is a 2 payday month. I get paid every 4 weeks, which means that we have 13 pay days a year. I was already aware that by January I would have a spare £1k that would go clear my credit card and allow me to buy bunk beds for the girls. Shuffle, shuffle...I have the money now. Yay.

So, I'm going to be sensible, yet careful at the same time and possibly a little crazy looking to some. I plan to pay £50 into my credit card each day so that I can see it go down, appreciate the months that will come off my debt free date (again). I will buy the bunk beds on the card for the security cover, don't worry only Ikea ones. I am 99% sure though that they will also be included in the clearing.

By the end of the month, having broken down the reduction on here each day, I aim to have cleared this card. The card that without this additional pay day would take me until May 2016 to clear on minimum payments. I will also make my overpayment that I usually do.

OMG I am actually so happy. Then I can throw my mum the £50 a month I have been putting on the card. Even if that will take years to clear. Credit card will then only resort to emergencies.

Wait I do need to factor christmas into this, but I am only buying token gifts and one decent pressie for my big daughter, possibly a new phone. I'm not buying for all the kids of OH this year....hard times. I'm probably still suffering from spending last year and then having to put baby money on the credit card.

Will continue to try and earn along with the studies.

    The only way is up....baby.

Payday has happened and I have paid all my bills, one direct debit left to come out and then food / petrol which are all accounted for.
Extra payment made to credit card, debt free date down 3 months. I'm going to enjoy this month I think.

I used to get paid fortnightly. Twice a year I was very rich :)

How does this work though? Won't you have bills needing paid out of your next pay check, eg Dds that come out on 1st of the month?

On phone so short post and probably incomprehensible!

    Hiya totally understand,

I get paid again on the 30th, so that payment will go towards those bills.
Only because I have forecast all my expenditure for the year do I know this has happened. Other than people going on about it at work.
I imagine if I were on calender monthly I would have a couple hundred more pounds each month but this way it really feels like a bonus.

I'm really wishing there were more hours in the day at the moment, cleaning just doesn't seem to happen.

Been in bed pretty much all weekend with a cold, surfacing to feed little people and make an effort to play with them.

Paid another £50 in, very tempted to just clear the card but I'm liking seeing it go down.

Just Tiny and I tonight, big one is at mums following an inset day today. Came in to reluctantly cook food (I would've been happy with cereal) and Tiny fell asleep before it was ready. So bottle in bed, dinner for one, ironing done, washing on, dishwasher on all before 8.30.
Will try and find one more job to do and get on with studies.

Card down another £50, debt free date down a month.

Today's post may make frowns appear.
I have continued with my £50 a day payment off the credit card, however have had 2 spends on it. First being Sky and the other Amazon.
My big ones birthday is next month and I bought her a new phone following a complete meltdown this evening. I thought I lost her.
I usually meet her after swimming outside a friends house as it is starting to get darker sooner, it is a half way point. After swimming I never got the leaving message but wasn't too worried as her phone is temperamental. 20 mins later however she hadn't turned up and Tiny was in the back screaming. At this point I wasn't too worried as I was early and traffic was bad. Saw a bus go past, she didn't come off. So I called my friend and asked her to watch all the buses to see if she comes off while I drive to swimming. It's a 5ish min car journey but 15 mins on the bus. I passed one bus couldn't see her and got to swimming, to find her their.
Cue the why are you here blah blah, tears from her and a stuck in the middle receptionist. Her phone had turned off and wouldn't turn on, they had been trying to charge it while calling me to say she was with me, she decided to stay put. The fault here was I hadn't updated my phone number.
So we bought her new phone for her birthday instead of xmas.
I then decided to do a little budget on the bed being bought, both of us needing a new pair of shoes and her (pref all three of us) needing rain jackets and though ahh this might not work. So I tried increasing my credit limit (I know I know) and I got it an extra £200 buffer just in case.

Once everything is purchased and I have put the last of my spare money on the card I will probably end up at about £400 on it. Counter productive but needed. I went from a £1000 bunkbed to ikea £200 and then mattresses. Shoes will be better than Primark as the cheapo pairs I bought the other week have come apart but will still be reasonable. As will any jackets. I can cope but would rather not. If Tiny gets one I will buy very oversized.

Still positive on the finances. I have decided as wednesdays involve alot of running around I am not going to study on this day but will dedicate it to money making.

Hiya. I'm good thank you. Life is slightly getting in the way. There's simply not enough hours for everything.

What to update? Finances are okay, ever so slightly in the positive rather than the usual negative.
Kids are good, still growing and throwing challenges all the time.
    Studies - plodding on.
Work is very good, a possible job should be coming up next week that I will go for and will be a promotion. Don't think I will get it as I know I have competition but try I will.
