While we are all discussing this, I have been talking to cornishpasty on FB and I will be updating the mag daily thread again until she can get someone to fix her MSE account, I have to pop out shortly but will be updating it this afternoon.

I didnt know Cornish was having problems - i posted last night because i finally had some time to do the research and then post.

Its proven my point completely though, your comment. How many people knew Cornish had problems, im guessing unless you go into the magazine post or compers chat, then you would have no idea.

Maybe it's just coincidence,but i have won more on the magazine dailies, since they have been posted the new way.

I have seen a lot of people commenting that they have stopped doing the mag daillies, not because they dislike the way that they are posted, but because there is frequently one medium sized prize spread out over all the mags.

Eek hun, don't for a second think I meant that you'd deliberately posted when Cornish couldn't comment. Like, as if you would've done that - no way. I only meant it was ironic timing. It's all good as far as I can see. Debating on whether things are working the best way can only be helpful, and I'm sure the Cornish will get her say, unless she truly has broken MSE, that is

I think it is ironical that loads are complaining about the 'new way' when poor Cornish Pasty can not log in the defend herself! She posts loads and deserves a huge pat on the back for all she does! How come people are complaining now when the new way has been up and running for months now!

my wins have gone right down from at least one a month , often two or more to about 1 every 3 months & they've not been from the ones offering combined prizes either

One, i did not know that Cornish could not post - you are the second person to suggest this and i do not appreciate it. Cornish had a good idea, put it into action, is probably doing a sterling job keeping it going, but the facts remain that less people are seeing these comps now they are being posted in this way.

Two, i did complain when it was first started. I have now waited a few months to see if it would work - and no matter what anyone says, the facts are as i have put them, less people are thanking (for a number of reasons, but the majority will be because they no longer enter them) and from the couple of people who have been honest enough to comment, the people who do enter via the new thread are winning more often, which, considering most people have been complaining they are winning less due to more people entering competitions now, proves to me that less people are entering these magazine comps fron the thread.

I am not winning more! I am winning less so your theory of less people entering is obviously wrong!
