Credit card to pay friend who has paypal account is it possible?

I need to pay money to a friend he has asked me to pay him via paypal? I hold a credit card,wondering if I can call credit card company and ask them to make a payment to my friends credit card? Would this be possible? Would I get charged for doing this? Any help/advice would be appreciated

Hmm I see..Bit of a racket with the warnings etc.. don't get me wrong this method allowed me to ship over £2000 a lot cheaper than it would have cost me using ATMs etc..

Hopefully I won't have to use this method again in future,have money that's tied up else where which is due for release next month..
