Very interesting,I recently lost my drivers licence applied for a new one to be issued yesterday, passport has expired last month!

My concern now is that with carrying out such a relatively high transaction at £6000 may lead onto Paypal requesting photographic I'd?

Last thing I want to do is to get the money stuck within paypals review/system?

As I need to get the money to my friend by the end of next week I don't know if I want to possibly go through the headache of a high chance of Paypal requesting photographic I'd etc of which I currently don't have?

If my friend didn't need the money by the end of next week I would have put it through knowing worst case scenario wait until drivers licence comes through etc?

Unsure of what to do and how to go about it?Do I try smaller transactions such as £1000 at a time?

Would also like to point out I appreciate Paypal has rules/policy's to follow for security reasons etc

Does your credit card provider provide credit card cheques? You can then just give him a cheque.

I used to get these sent to me every so often (I used to bin them). It may have been MBNA, but not 100% sure of that.

Popped into a bank asked them procedures of withdrawing money from a credit card etc Advised I would need photographic I'd,utility bills etc??

Told them about my expired passport, awaiting on new drivers licence, advised they wouldn't be able to assist with expired passport etc?

Made enquiry with bank to familiarise myself worst possible case scenario?

Ok so I linked my credit card to pay pal.Was then looking to top up pay pal account using credit card?Unable to do so?Called pay pal, advised the only way to top up pay pal is from a bank account? Also advised if I much a purchase from ebay, amazon etc i would be able to apply my credit card via pay pal to make payment apart from that pay pal are unable to go in directly to credit card, take funds from it and put it into my pay pal account?

In case I haven't explained this right,I need to pay a friend money who also holds a Paypal account.

Thought by linking my credit card to my pay pal account would allow me to take money from my credit card allowing me to have funds available in my pay pal account.

From there I was looking to send those funds onto friend who has pay pal account?

Didn't get that you can only do this if funds have came from bank account??

Hi guys - Successfully sent some money!! Did not see the bit where you can change where payment was to come from.

Would like to thank everyone for help and support provided.
