Christmas decs for your birthday sounds a great idea
particularly if you would eventually buy them for yourself anyway
You've done amazingly by the way!
Thanks!!!

Stating to think of Christmas presents now, as well as birthday presents for my mum.
In our family each of us have a gold charm bracelet (a tradition my nan started) so Ive got her a 'cup and saucer' charm. Just thought it was sweet, and we do like our tea! It was pricey at £60, but I really dont know what else to get her, and it is her 50th.
She has never been abroad and not been on a plane so I wanted to take her on a little weekend to Germany (DH and I usually go, but I wanted to make it a family thing for a special occasion). But i think it's going to have the mockers put on it by my dad who 'wants to chat' about it...made me feel quite nervous about it now, Ive been on at them both about booking it for months and they're just been messing about with 'booking it off work' and not really communicating....honestly HASSLE!
If they dont want to go, me and DH will go anyway. Havent been abroad for 3 years (or on holiday really) and the money is saved, so why not!
honestly families stress you out dont they!Total Debt in Feb 2015 - £6,052 | DEBT FREE 26/05/2017Swagbucks £200 Valued Opinions £100Dave Ramsey Baby Step 2 | Mr Money Mustache Addict0 -
Hello There....I've just discovered your Diary and read through it....Your Positivity and enthusiasm is infectious!!

I'm also hoping to go to Disneyworld but not for a Honeymoon...for my 40th....which isn't until 2018....but it will take me that long to save up for it!!
I just wanted to say that I think you're doing brilliantly....and also, re Christmas Deccies....Have you looked at Amazon? I was looking on there a few Weeks ago and they do some lovely things....and not too expensive either....
I'll Subscribe and look forward to seeing you paying off this Debt...xXx

Hi Dreamer! Welcome welcome!
I hadnt thought to look at amazon! will keep that in mind.
Disney is really expensive, but its our only thing we really want to do. I'm not going to pretend we're getting a 'really' good deal or anything though! haha.
Are you going with the family? I recommend checking out Jordan page 'fun, cheap or free' videos on youtube, she went to disney and there are tips for families on there, its great!Total Debt in Feb 2015 - £6,052 | DEBT FREE 26/05/2017Swagbucks £200 Valued Opinions £100Dave Ramsey Baby Step 2 | Mr Money Mustache Addict0 -
At the moment I'm going alone....I'm a singleton right now...but quite happily so
But I might be able to persuade a Friend to come along which would be lovely as we've known each other for years....
I've been checking out YouTube, it's the thought of going back to Florida and watching YouTube Video's that is keeping me going right now!! LoL....
You'll get there...and Florida really IS such a magical place that I can understand you going there for a Honeymoon... xXx0 -
How awesome!
I've got to be honest, my DH isn't going to know what has hit him when we get there, I'm not really interested in the rides, I LOVE Disney, the characters the whole decor and imagination of the place, I'm so excited! probably better on my own ;-)

Hey There....No, I haven't watched it - What channel is it on?? I was planning on getting the DVD Box Set of the First Series....
I'm the same as you to be honest....I have a balance Disorder so I can go on some of the tame rides but the rollercoasters would be no good for me at all as I'd be ill for the next few days....But I love the Magic of Disney....the fairytales, the princesses, the belief that my dreams can come true....

I watch it on netflix (£5.99 - there are usually free trials)...and honestly its amazing! the new season has just started, but start from the beginning....honestly you'll fall in love...probably with Hook ;-)
I get travel sickness , we went to Alton Towers for our 'mini-moon' as got married last year (saving for dream honeymoon takes time!) and after going on one ride, my eyes were just rolling the rest of the day! very unpleasant!Total Debt in Feb 2015 - £6,052 | DEBT FREE 26/05/2017Swagbucks £200 Valued Opinions £100Dave Ramsey Baby Step 2 | Mr Money Mustache Addict0 -

Yeah, I've had this Balance thing for many many Years....I'm okay as long as I don't do anything silly like go upside down on a Rollercoaster!!
Have you ever been to Disneyworld Florida before? I have, but a long long time ago....Still got my Autograph Book though
