haha maybe wasn't that obvious to me!
I'll have a think, it's a long day with no access to a fridge or anything so may have to take some crisps to tide me over.

Haha! Crisps and a sandwich lacking in mayonnaise etc, and foiled, should last well without a fridge?! Like a classic school trip packed lunch!haha maybe wasn't that obvious to me!

So I am officially horrible at updating my diary and reading my subscriptions.
So this payday, which I cant wait for I am very excited! I get to pay off my penultimate card.
I will be paying off £787 on my halifax card, and £250 on my barclay card. This should leave me with just over £2300 to pay off before christmas.
My best friends are getting married next year, and my and DH are key bridal party people so will need to shell out for hen/stag do's, and possibly outfits. So i've worked it into the budget, which makes saving for our honeymoon (disney/universal florida Sept 2016) very tight!
But once the debt is gone, it will be easier.Total Debt in Feb 2015 - £6,052 | DEBT FREE 26/05/2017Swagbucks £200 Valued Opinions £100Dave Ramsey Baby Step 2 | Mr Money Mustache Addict0 -
Amazing progress - it'll feel so good to get rid of another card!0

I know this is a debt diary, but I needed an outlet of some sort for this.
My brother is currently sofa surfing and may end up homeless.
He is younger than me, and moved to another city (2 hours away) to support his then girlfriend while she was at university. He paid for everything as she didnt get a very big student loan. They've pretty much lived...well disgusting really. low income. no social life. dirty home. dirty clothes..just not the happiest.
After finishing Uni she has now left him and gone back home to her parents. He had to leave their house as he couldnt afford rent on his own. But rather than come back home for a bit, to sort himself out, my parents went up to fetch his stuff and he moved in above a pub with some of his friends. I think he was due to live in one of the rooms, but something happened there and he is now sofa surfing. I learn alot of this over facebook with various 'work it out yourself' statuses, and us his family just have to watch his world unravel as he doesnt want to dent his pride and come home where he will be safe and looked after.
It just makes me cross. He's so hard to talk to. even harder to convince what he is doing is crazy. Why would you stay some where, 'because wages are good and have friends' if youre homeless.??????
I think its madness.
I think its childish.
I feel helpless.
sorry rant over....I honestly feel that you need to look after yourself, you need to empower yourself and take control.Total Debt in Feb 2015 - £6,052 | DEBT FREE 26/05/2017Swagbucks £200 Valued Opinions £100Dave Ramsey Baby Step 2 | Mr Money Mustache Addict0 -
