have to say this is the best laugh ive had for a while,a brainy/historic debate interlaced with good mumsy advice and some horny bloke talk ,ps op that above sounds like u organised a threesome for your oh lol.
so to further the debate how long should it last im up for the 2-3 x a week but jeez 2-3 hrs now there will be some who will say well done him but to be honest 2/3 i have work the next day lol

On Mse there is a LOT of talk about food.....a grocery shopping board and old style......but little of the other. Maybe most people are feeding their menfolk:D

For us about 3/4 times a week is normal. We're 27 and 34 and had a baby last year. The only time when we had no sex at all was the last month of my pregnancy and the first two months after the baby was born. We're back to normal now but I think it helps that we have a good sleeping baby so have never really had that knackered phase. We both work full time (OH 5 days and week, and me 4 days a week). We also have a week off each month, during period week, but that has now affectionately been renamed 'blowy week'

nb. I am 61 now. IMHO age is not a factor.

I don't think there is an average, every couple is different. We have it more often than you and we're in our 50s and in our 30s it was 4 or 5 times a week. I have friends of our age who have stopped having it altogether....

As long as you're both happy with the frequency/quality then there is no right amount.
