Nicki, I got caught out in may and got burnt. I think it was the wind factor too as I never burn but this was a bad one. Have you got any Aveeno cream? I literally covered myself in it and just lay with the fan on my burnt area. You need to let whichever cream you use soak in if possible and not rub it in. Let your skin absorb it. Drink lots of water. If you moisturise in and out now you will reap the benefit in the next few days, xxxx

Nicki – Hope that you are starting to feel better. If you are still feeling a bit icky (apart from the sunburn) I’d try diorolyte (sp?) rehydration sachets you can get own brand ones as well. They are usually for icky tummies but work if you’ve overdone it in the sun.

Valli - I was a bit thick and didn’t realise there were hidden links, what be the punishment? Also huge thanks for the lists this week.

Ionafan - Hope the shower was brilliant

Mummyroysof3 - Hope packing is goes better than expected

I know it’s Sunday but does anyone fancy an HHC (P for me) at 3pm

I did have after sun with aloe vera in it but thats gone, so I'm now using baby lotion :rotfl: I'm applying it thickly and letting it soak in but its starting to leave a greasy film just in time for me to go and have another cool bath which will probably wash the film off. I'm drinking cordial like its going out of fashion...and using a N0w TV leaflet that came through the door as a fan as I don't have an electric one :rotfl: Junk mail does have its uses :rotfl::rotfl:

    Mummy3 - I hate packing too

WM2 on the line, getting bored of paperwork now so think I'll get changed and drag DS2 back into the garden for an hour of hard labour.

I needed to let you all know... I just cleaned my front door (little windows) inside and out for the first time since moving in 6 years ago! And the front bay window (third times in 6 years). I am proud of myself. Going to tackle a kitchen deep clean now(fourth time in 6 years). I know, I am a minger.

    Hi all

Some of my GUAG has reappeared but still fighting myself to get on and get stuff done.

Yesterday after work and before I went out to BBQ I managed to do a load in WM and hang it up. Cut the grass, remove some dandelions from grass using my favourite gardening tool of all time (so satisfying pulling the blighters up). Some multi-purp and grass seed put down over the holes I'd created.

    Today:

WM x 2 - both hung on the line
Ironing basket emptied - all clothes put away in CoD or wardrobe
    Bed remade with fresh linen
    BR dusted & hettyed
landing hettyed (she has returned downstairs from her week on the landing :o and is currently awaiting deployment in the LR)
    Shower cleaned

    To do:

Hetty LR, hallway, bathroom, kitchen & sun room
plant 3 plants in the garden
    Get washing in
water the plants in pots & lawn (will do at dusk)

Natty hope your cat has turned up
    pigpen gorgeous blanket

I'm another one who hates packing. I have recurring bad dreams that I have to either pack to leave home, pack to leave a hotel or pack up my stuff from my desk at school as I'm leaving... There is never enough time and removal lorries are always required. Hmmm.
