First time I went to ex-'parent-in-laws' (which is where I was on Friday when I got burnt) I put baby lotion on before going out. I ended up with 2nd degree burns to my chest! Thankfully ex-mil is a nurse and kept an eye on me but ever since whenever there is sun she asks if I've got cream on:rotfl: Even with cream on though I can burn up there, I swear its wind burn as well as the area isn't nicknamed as "Windy Walney" without good reason!
It is slowly receding. Just the top 6" or so at the top of my shoulders, a patch on my chest (lob sided as I had a small messenger bag across me :rotfl:), my forehead near my hairline and the back of my neck are still very very hot but much cooler than they were last night, rest of me just looks slightly tanned. Just hurting now when the skin creases if I lift my arms or pick something heavy up. Can't wait for DD to come home tonight as she can take over applying the lotion
Flying wise I'm decluttering a packet of flavoured rice cakes while watching Top Gun, the TD is on with a load of towels (I need them soft otherwise I'd have them on the maiden!) and another load is in the WM. Think I'll paint my nails soon while I declutter Die Hard with a Vengance from the freeview boxGoing to wait until I've juggled washing though
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

(sorry, I can never remember how to do the short'n'tidy links). He gets his chinos for work from there, too - his problem is having short legs, and they seem to cater for that.:o HTH.
Mr LW's been to the monthly farmers market, he also stopped by the cherry farm and bought over 6lb cherries, so we've been busy stoning those. I've made cherry crumble, set some aside for my lunchtime fruit for a couple of days, and frozen the rest. He's on about getting some more next week to make jam with.:o
I've also made a quiche today, which will do today's dins and tomorrow's, and the BM has nearly finished making a loaf.
Today's remaining "must do" tasks are the weekly check of the car - tyres, oil, wash bottle, etc - and the ironing, both of which are Mr LW's to do.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
