Morning all
Naughty cat woke me up by biting my big toe at 5am and DH is snoring too much for me to sleep. Having a cuppa and pottering then I'm making a start on the paperwork whilst it is quiet.
Bonnie - so funny, you're always welcome in my kitchen and when you live with grotbags you are used to remaking everything as he is like goldilocks
Honey good luck with making your dog a starThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good morning all. The training this thread has given me must be working as I wiped all bedroom surfaces before I even left the room (through blurred eyes, so not sure of how well it's done!) and I took a wipe with me and wiped handrails and surfaces on way down stairs!!!!
Going to declutter digibox in a while (and maybe watch something) and then going to make cake and clean kitchen at same time, maybe even clean out one cupboard at the same time. Going to make sure everything looks tidy tonight so that I have no excuse tomorrow not to start in the garden first thing in the morning.
Hope Natty's cat is home ...........:rotfl:0 -
First lot of paperwork sorted

Desk wiped
Dining room dewebbed

Next batch of paperwork now and then to finish dusting the DR, we will be able to eat dinner off the table tonight (although if it's warm will be in the garden)The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all.
I was up and in a cool bath by 7am this morning. I've set up a timer to remind me to apply baby lotion every hour, and every 4 or so I'll go and do some more cold compresses before hand as I need to get rid of the heat but I don't want to dry out my skin.
Going to juggle washing, stick a load of towels in (they're icky from after sun etc), declutter some TV with breakfast and then some more nail polish onto my nails since there's not much else I can do. I've put massive labels onto the suncream so I don't make the same mistake again. Its ridiculous that just the time it took me to open my front door and put the binbag in the bin next to the door my sunburnt started hurting more where it was exposed to the sun.
Off to make coffee, toast with peanutbutter, vitamins antihystermine (sp?) and painkillers.:)Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Sun has come out so first lot of washing can go on the line. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Have just christened our new shower
Now that the walls are being boarded and skimmed, there is far less dust here and the house is beginning to look respectable again- I might even be able to do a bit more flying next week! I've enjoyed reading the lists this week and discovering a bit more about how Valli's mind works :rotfl: but I haven't been able to do much apart from washing curtains and dust cloths.
Mule flung (belatedly) in Mumto5's direction
How your puddy tat has returned, Natty
