HI all, unfortunately still not 100% have a irritating cough but other wise feeling better. Hope to go out whilst on hols need some excuse to get away from inlaws!!!! Seriously need to get some mileage in as time is ticking away quickly.0

Hi all havent run this week, been to London for a few days, Am off on holiday for 2 weeks from Sunday and taking my running shoes, see you all when I get back22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500

Still have cough an so fed up with it :mad:, tried loads of different medicines, medicated mouth wash and still not gone! Luckily had lots of Boots vouchers to buy them but would have rather used them on Xmas prezzies, never mind. No running for 2 weeks now but even if I'm still coughing tomorrow I'm going out.
Off to in-laws soon in south wales (aberfan) so have packed my kit, have to put up with them until wednesday as no money till OH gets paid on that day so can't get petrol to come back.
Will try to post from their house, but take care everyone :wave:0 -

Done a couple of 5ks and now want to move to 10k. I'd like to join for motivational reasons, don't get out much so to speak. And being a the NHS have been totally useless i'm hoping to get some advice on diet too. Not to lose weight!!! HI everyone, just checking in DH, DD and I have been for a long walk today in the valleys - anything to escape the in-laws and his layabout of a brother. We are being taken out for dinner tonight so no spends, having to borrow some money to drive home tomorrow couldn't stick it out till Weds! No runs but will go out when we get home.0

Hi Evab, glad you posted, I lost the thread for a while :rolleyes:
I am currently hobbling around. I did about 6 miles yesterday and now my hip is killing me, did it in a personal best time though so I am really pleased - particularly as I was on my own.
My dilemma is we go away on Saturday for two weeks :j and then I have a 10km the week after I get back and the Great North Run 3 weeks after that :eek: I am pretty sure if I don't run whilst I am away I will really lose what I have built up in the last 6 months, so I am packing my running stuff and planning 3 runs a week. But I don't fancy running on my own abroad, there is a gym there but I honestly can't see me wanting to be stuck inside on a treadmill. I would love to run on the outside, but I feel a bit scared of the unknown, am I pathetic? What to do, what to do0
