It's ok, Sallyx, I have enough aches for both of usSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

I am officially gobsmacked!
45 minutes is simply unbelievable - 7:15 miling at 6am.
As always, once something else backs up that sort of performance and makes it more than a one-off it becomes your new standard.
But I am just amazed.
Did it feel that fast? Did you feel particularly good this morning?
Wow, wow, wow.:D:D
PS Sally, have you turned into Superwoman?:p A massive improvement in half marathon time followed by no muscle stiffness or aches is incredible. You must be well on course!Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Week14
Mon1/12 Rest Day
Tues2/12 10K 51:20 (Pulse 118)
Well, this morning was scheduled to be an interval session, but after seeing nothing but white, ie 2 inches of snow on both pavements and roads, it didn't seem particularly practical to do any kind of speedwork.
Therefore, the Tuesday and Wednesday sessions were switched.
A steady 10K in 51:20 felt like a good session, but compared to Becky it is positively snail like.:pGt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Well done becky, I was actually awake at 6am but only to feed baby whilst trying not to fall back to sleep! I'm definitely not a morning person.
Rich does skating down the road constitute speed work:D, worth a try if the snow doesn't clear!
Well done JJ great work, hope the jelly legs are better.
Great work Sally, you really impress me with your progress.
Hypno, sorry forgot to say well done on half mara at the weekend and to the not so mini hypnos too!
To anyone I've missed - keep up the good work!0
