I have been coveting one for a while but they £££ for me!

I've got the Forerunner 305, the one which has the heart rate monitor strap thingy. It is a fab bit of kit and I used it when training for Cardiff and Bath halfs but then lost the thing (or so I thought!) so never had it when training for the Chippenham half in September. I then went and brought the Nike + thing as wanted a new MP3 player anyway and got a cracking deal for the whole set brand new on ebay. The Nike + has good points as does the Garmin. Really if I was more hardcore, I would opt for the Garmin but I am thinking aboout how greedy I am and that I have survived so long without it, maybe I should just try and sell it?!?

I like the Ronhill stuff, looks good! I'm the same about the beanies...I got one last year and a running headband thing too which was good for holding in my headphones and keeping my ears warm. Will have to dig it out!

Thanks! I was looknig at the 405 but way tooo much for me I'm afraid... , however I'm having a thought - I am going to NY in Jan - will it be cheaper over there?

Now that is nice :T I am a size 12 (ish!) and I like the way it says size 12 Large Bust! I wish :rotfl:

I think it seems (correct me if I am wrong people!) but you can only either have something windproof or waterproof never both of them? I was looking at biking gear earlier as I cycle to work and it is starting to get very chilly, but you can only have waterproof coats or windproof ones...grrrrr!

the stuff i bought is really good quality, as good as anything else branded i've owned....

it was recommended by the jog leaders at my club, not by the club itself as they sell their own gear.... but personally recommended and he is a hardcore runner, so must be pretty good....

They don't always have that kinda stuff, it goes by whatever is on special at the time....

all dispatched from germany i think, so maybe that's why so cheap....

Free returns too, so no risk as such.
