    Hi
Its like an elastic band and the arms of the glasses go in each end and then its supposed to go round your head and hold them on tight. I will check what they were called. Picked them in Specsavers.
I have always ran in contacts but now I am doing more running and trying to save money I have kept the contacts for football or when I do a serious run.
I didnt think running in glasses would be a problem but it certainly was in the rain last night. As I mentioned I tried to run without them but a definite no no - everything was just a complete blur.

Has no one been running this evening - there is no mention of miles or times

I have been working, so no chance to run at all today - in fact no time to eat, or do housework (what a shame) at all either :o

Someone I don't know has very kindly sponsored me on my justgiving page. I don't know who you are, but hopefully you will read this - thank you, thank you, thank you x

    Morning all,

Been for 4 mile this morning - a bit heavy in the legs stil, but did it in 45 mins which is only 3 mins slower than my supposed fast run yesterday (but I suspect some of that is down to traffic lights)...

Hope everyone has some good running today!

Ooo get you Hypno! It wasnt me by the way

becky I so wish I could get up and out in the morning, but no matter how many times I set my alarm for 5am, I just cannot get going. It would make so much sense to get that run out of the way every day without having to fit in kids activities, meal preparation, work and clients etc. I must try harder, I really must! In the meantime, I will remain in awe of you and your early morning milage!

Hopefully I will run with Pania this evening, but my shoulder and neck is very sore, so I will have to just see how things go. I don't want to make it worse, but on the other hand, it is too early in my training to be making excuses not to run.

    Happy running guys!

Hope your neck gets better Hypno, It wasn't me yet either but I will sponsor you after payday.
Becky well done on your early morning run. I intended to go early too this morning, set the alarm was just about to leave and DD woke up so will have to wait until she is at pre-school later. Got a 4 mile fartlek to do so know I will be tired.

    Well done Becky,

The nice, easy sessions are just as beneficial as the quality sessions so nice effort.

I love the no fuss way you just get up at 6am and pop out for your run - the rest of us are in awe!

Well I have to say when I commuted I got up at 5 am everyday for 3 months...6am is a lie in for me ;)

I'm looking forward to it being a bit brighter in the mornings though - I nearly tripped over one of those 'jubilee walk' stones today - very annoying!

ok back from run, I never seem to be able to complete a fartlek session, think i am a natural born plodder and my body doesn't like speed ;) Anyway managed 3 miles in 26.55 average 8.51m/m but also had my fastest ever mile 8.44 :) so not all bad I guess.
