I was only wondering yesterday where you had disapeared to...
Glad you have found your garmin, I wish I had bought one and not bothered with the Nike (just not getting on with it at all)
What's up with the Nike +? Did you get around to caliberating the thing?:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

Yeah I did calibrate it but it just doesn't seem to give particularly accurate distances.I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

That's a shame...have you tried wiping it and redoing it? I screwed up the first time as did it for 0.4 of a mile thinking that it was 400 metres but finally managed to sort it when I did it for the 2.5 of a mile that the 400 metres is...took a while though.
Soooo glad to have the Garmin back. Should sell it but will probably end up keeping it now that DD has finally found it!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

I also want to wipe the runs I have put on the nike+ site but I can't fathom how to do it...Im no technophobe and its not complicated but it just doesnt seem to show you how to do these simple things!
Might try one last time to calibrate it (mean I will have to get a mile run in sometime)I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Hey Sallyx! Fantastic news about your place. Like Rich, I thought the 'bequeathed' ballot was a myth but there you go and prove me wrong. I am sooooo jealous of your place though. After you finish London you will cease to be the same person. Do that one and you will feel like you can do anything (and you can)! All of your training now has a purpose and believe me, if you do it right it will pay off. You'll experience every emotion possible both in training and during the race itself but you can't beat the elation of crossing the finish line and getting that medal.
You go girl!!!
I'll be there cheering my OH on so I'll give you a wave and a holler if I see you.

Hi Sammy, You have to go now to let us all know what [STRIKE]he[/STRIKE] the running club is like. I love the name of the website Well-fit.co.uk It takes me back to my school days, when all the 5th-formers were 'well-fit' to us first years
