Thanks Sal/Becks.. not quite but sooooo close to that elusive 4 miles... (and erm really my progress has been slow slow slow but nice of you to say so!)

Actually due to go out tomorrow too with runchum but y'know how unpredictable those planned runs can be, so thought if i went out today and if she cancelled then i wouldn't be bummed baout missing out.... (altho' nothing stopping me going out alone... )

some of my best runs are alone. or maybe it's cause i just make them up!! lol! - joke! honest!

Is 4 miles a sort of breakthrough point? I know it's been mentioned a couple of times. I think it pushes you into that bracket of being more than a fun runner maybe?

My next target it 4.5 miles, which is 3 laps of my usual run, but it's going to take a loooong time to get there I think, bearing in mind I could hardly drive home after running 3 miles. How come your legs don't feel like they are about to give way while you're running, but as soon as you stop, you can't imagine ever being able to take another step again? :o

Maz I not one for running with others generally - I always push myself harder on my own - not sure why?

Maz if you went out tomorrow on your own you could always do some fartlek training!

Hoping that no news is good news....maybe its just got lost in the west country post!

Snaggles I wouldn't say 4 miles in an elusive number but I def think once you get beyound that point your fitness is at a point where you build time and distance much quicker.

I am one of said unpredictable runchums....I am always cancelling but am also due to go for a run tomorrow - I just need to get back from Liverpool for 3pm. While I am up here I usually get sidetracked into visiting all three SIL's but tomorrow I am going to think of myself and go do my run.....We could run together but seperately IYKWIM
