OMG Not I certainly won't be telling him that!
I think he likes that pic too (taken by my 13-yo son) because he has his hat on and his follically-challenged head isn't glinting in the sunlight
. LOL I give him some stick but he is such a sweetheart and I love him loads.
We won't be running together. He is a turbo-boosted-nutty-runner. He says he isn't fit for the race but I know he will be finished in about 1h 30m. He'll have to wait around for about another hour before I show up!

Awwwww that is sooo sweet!
You'll do great hun, i'll be watching out for you on telly..... can we ask what your number is?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Oh yes, I was just about to ask that too Chickadee!
Sally, that run sounds great - can't imagine being able to run under 10 minute miles. :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

You're certainly sounding happier than last Friday, which has probably been totally forgotten now - you see how that 34mins time just didn't matter? If it had been 38mins it wouldn't matter now - just a week later, so it certainly didn't make any difference to what will happen in April.
Now get in the shower - you stink!
Your right in fact I can't even remember where I ran and how far I ran for last friday
Yes definatley feeling chipper now and having my breakfast which I was desperate for.
Oh and BTW I have been in the shower and now smelling sweet and clean again
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Hey you guys, thanks for all your kind words and sponsorship for Sunday. Feeling under pressure now
(wipes bead of sweat from brow).
My race number is still in my pack, along with instructions, timing chip, etc. but I'll let you know so you can look out for me on the telly. I have set it to record so I can watch it back when I get home and get all emotional.
I'm not too sure that you'll be able to spot me waddling along with the other 51,999 runners but have a go.
Thanks again, you are all :A .

I've now ordered two items that should help to see me through my winter running/cycling. Had to stop at two as I'd checked my bank account beforehand

Chickadee, you'll be fine on the day :T I'm only sorry I won't be able to watch it as I'll be doing a 10 mile club race over in Wimbledon that morning. Hopefully they'll show the highlights later on in the day.
Well today is my complete rest day. I would have cycled to work but I put the bike in for its first ever service. I'm thinking of cycling over to Wimbledon Park for the race on Sunday, but am not sure it's a good idea. On the other hand, I could try to convince myself that it will increase my fitness level for my marathon in December :cool:The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025. Member #420 -
