Now Rich thank you for your info on stretching. Now something else I wanted to know is how beneficial is a sport massage. If they are when should I have one and how often (remember I am a DFW)

All massage is good as long as :
    1. It is firm (Otherwise it turns into the other type of massage!)
    2. It is in the direction of the heart.

It is always beneficial either before an event to relieve tightness or after an event to promote the removal of waste products. But its not worth paying for unless its very cheap because you want it on a regular basis if at all possible.

Which means finding a willing bod to do the deed - some runners pair up to achieve this.
    Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
    Blackpool Marathon 11/4/2010 (Target=2:59:59) (6:52/mile)
    Abingdon Marathon 17/10/2010, (Target=2:48:57) (6:27/mile)

Mirrors don't always tell a true story and can make you look much bigger than you are
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Well, it's never great, but last night it was really bad, in a mirror I usually only see myself fully dressed in :o

I unfortunately have devils in every cupboard, the fridge, the freezer.....

Spud, mirrors are evil creatures with minds of their own, and mirrors near direct daylight even more so.

    Ignore them! :p
