I see quite a few on a Sunday morning - it reassures me that either a) I'm not insane, or b) If I am, I'm not the only one :o

  • hi bexter! i'll save the introductions as you have been lurking so will know everyone!!

i never ran tonight, weather was pants... and i am lazy!

Thanks Maz, the bad weather sounds like a pretty good reason to avoid going out! I, on the other hand, was very good, and went netball training for 2 hours....I can feel the ache setting in already!

oooh netball... i liked that when i was wee, i was GK...i used to be taller than my peers but everyone carried on growing after i stopped and suddenly i'm a short arrse...!

i'm quite jealous of you team sport players... maybe i need some of that in my life.... although how i would fit it in, i dunno!!

I'm only a shortie myself..I've never had the luxury of height! The little ones are more difficult to keep track of on the court! I love netball, only been back into it for 2 years, takes a lot of dedication and hard work, but it's such a god feeling when u win!

I am envious of you runners by the way. I get sooooo bored with it!

I sort of feel obliged to say 'hiya' as cheerfully as I can, and try to sound like I'm not dying from lack of oxygen!

    Is it just me? :rotfl:

This is interesting...was gonna do a post on this at some point...who among us actually smiles/nods/says hello to people as they run past them?

I'm sure most of us do, but I'm getting a little bit down about the number of people who don't acknowledge you or, worse, go out of their way to avoid eye contact etc when you say hi...

(it's worthy of note, most runners do say hi back, I've found - and mountain bikers are generally pretty good for this too)

I hate to say it, I think girls/women are worse...I just don't see why they're so afraid of me...do they really think I'm going to stop off in the middle of my 10 mile run to hit on/rape them if they smile and say hello? Or am I just being oversensitive...?

Morning - did I miss much the last few days?

The thread runs so fast that I don't have time to catch up on it. Well I do but I really need to be using that time to study so I'm not going to:p
