Sorry I Pm'd you...got ahead of myself there but have also posted it up here too
Well, this was the reply I sent you anyway:
Good thinking.
You can have dual roles ( remember rules are whatever you make them - this is very informal).
I suppose being chairperson (btw like the unisex approach) will not be a lot different to doing the likes of this so I'm quite happy with going up for that.
OK, good stuff I'll get these added.
Many thanks.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Yo yo yo wassup my fellow running buds?!?! Hope everyone is well!
My legs have fully recovered now so I treated myself to a 3 miler! And managed to run at average of 9 mins 42 which is about a minute faster that my last few runs!!! Mental!!! I felt really strong and kept up a good pace throughout, so hopefully if I keep getting out there 3 times a week I will improve! I am soooo chuffed with that tonight, awesome! Thinking myabe the 9 miler on Sunday will be a bit optomistic? Might get out for a 6 miler and start a more scheduled plan next week? Don't wanna push it!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
*sneaks on* Ummm.. well I was lazy tonight
I did walk home from my friend's house (2.5 miles) but by the time I got in was starving so it was pizza and err, just one bottle of beer, and a couple of hours watching a film instead. No plans for the weekend though so I'll try and run tomorrow then again on Sunday.

Well done you, feels amazing doesn't it!! I wish I was up to running tomorrow but I am taking Rich's advice and not going to push myself when I am under the weather. I wonder what my average is now...would love to get down to 8 min mile!
Think 6 miles at the weekend is a sensible distance but you might get to that and find you can do more??I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Hi Donna,
It looks like you may have got your recovery just about done if the muscles have come back stronger. Isn't it a nice feeling when the training pays off?
You might want to have a look at post 2762 to get an idea how to get the maximum improvement out of your next training while minimising injury risk.

Sorry to hear that you are feeling poorly...hope you fell better soon. Deffo agree with Rich about not pushing it when poorly.
OMG I would love an 8 minute mile! Or even a 9 miunte one!
Maybe what I will do then is set out for a 6 miler and see how I feel to see whether or not I run the extra bit?:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

Muscles felt really strong straight away which was why I wanted to continue running faster, I just hope I can start as I mean to go on...
I will check out the post, ta for that!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0
