  • flip me i wasnt gone that long and theres a page of posts already! Well im back. I "ran" at a guess somewhere between 500m and 1/2 a mile... when i stopped to tie my shoelace and thought oh oh not going to be able to start again lol so walked the rest. Can't say I enjoyed it as such and its really not as easy to sing when running as it is when walking... guess i should have thought of that first right? I do feel somewhat virtuous now im home though. Done some leg stretches to try and prevent them being too achey tomorrow. Not quite as sweaty as I would have liked either lol.

So... if im not in pain lol could i go for another slow jog tomorrow? Or am I best to wait until friday? and perhaps just do some trampette and floor exercises tomorrow?
  • Brilliant thanks ROD - you are a font of knowledge :T

I will stick to plan then and chill out a bit:cool:

Well done for getting out anyway!

See what you feel like tomorrow! If your achey, you will be more achey the next day, so leave it and let your body recover. That sounds stupid, I know. But it really is baby steps to start off with... No harm in walking it tomorrow and the day after though.

It wouldn't be the same without the verbal rucks. I'm a bit confused as to who is supposed to be the backchatter, I reckon you've got the skill down to a fine art. :p

BTW This banking merger is bad news either way:
    1. Merger fails - HBOS goes under triggering other collapses that will end god knows where.
    2. Merger succeeds - 40,000 job losses.

Lesser of two evils I suppose.

What happend to my HBoS O/D if they go belly up?

And I carry water in warmer months but it tended to go over my head to keep me cool rather than down my throat to quench my thirst...

I find a bottle of water gets in the way and annoys me I usually end up ditching it in a bin...

Hi Lucifa... You would continue to pay your OD as normal hon, sadly it won't get written off unless the company ceases to be completely in which case administrators would be responsible for recovering the outstanding money and it they could ask for it back in full but i suspect will agree to monthly payments. Really hope this take over deal works or it could be curtains for HBOS. they have some lovely people work for them and I'd hate to see a lehman brothers sceanrio happen to them.
