PS - i second the motion to give HWGA our club place for london mara 2009, if she wants it.

Your mark to get a guaranteed place would be 4-15 by next August. Is that miles out of reach?

Definitely - sorry to hear about that HWGA, send your son round to us for a slap  I hope he realises how important this is to you and tries to change it. And then you can run alongside famous people like this! http://www.moremagazine.co.uk/celebrity/news/story.asp?news_id=6359

it's in Portsmouth! it'll take you just as long to get from London to ooop north, as it would to get to Pompei......

we should all aim to get together for one mega meet/run at some point next year, with everything else being a bit more regional.....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
