    Female :D

I warn you all now though......I couldn't run for a bus right now :o I did go out for two trips round the block with Pania a few weeks ago but kept making excuses..........

I need a big kick up the backside.

My kids are at karate for 2 hours tomorrow evening at a sports centre half an hour away from home - I could take my kit with me and run (sort of) while they are training, then sneak into the changing rooms there and nick their showers.......

I was trying to come up with some pun to get me out of that little spelling mistake. I'm sure there is one with the weather today, but I'm not very creative at the moment.

I'm sure they were virtually my exact words on my first post!

Don't worry there's not a chance you need any more motivation - you just need to inhale running atmosphere.

You're right - there is a certain something about that aroma at the start of a race that you just couldn't mistake with anywhere else.

Although I think best not ponder the subject too much.

    I'm going to rephrase:

Instead of 'Inhale Running Atmosphere' you need to 'Wholly immerse yourself in running banter'

    There, that sounds better!!!

Yes, Sally, I agree that a 10k is ideal for everybody. Plus you can just about struggle round a 10k after a bit of a session the night before, a half marathon needs a bit more serious contemplation!

Does this constitute a bid to become Fixtures Secretary then? It sure looks that way!

Yeah i'll be fixtures sec if everyone else is happy with that
