Hmmmmn, not really.....
I only get half an hour for lunch... which is probably long enough for me.... but no time/facilities for shower and i go sooooo red n sweaty that i would just sit there like a red sweaty thing for the rest of the afternoon... not a good look on the front desk.....
I live 10 miles from work, so couldn't concievably run home after work... 10 miles A-B on main A90.... more than that if i were to go safer back roads... probably more like 14 miles.... maybe one day when i train for my own half mara!!!!!!!!!! (that was a joke btw!!!)RichOneday wrote: »Maz - You sound like a candidate for a treadmill, but loads of expense!
As for the toe thing, you silly billy, smother them in vaseline. It's my answer to everything tbh - just smother it in vaseline and it'll be fine
I knew you were going to say that re the vaseline!!!
I'd like a treadmill.... but no space really... and as you say very expensive... so rule that one out...
I'll just have to stick with the status quo mean time, and do what i can, minimum one run a week, coupled with 2 swimming sessions... swim lesson x 1 and 1 extra swim with erin (swims are easier to fit in as can be classed as family fun time...)
Sally - you've got kids, how do you manage it?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Well Maz if I want to run it means that I have to get up early and go in the morning. DH leavse for work 7ish so I have to be back by then which is do able or has been up until now. I have the problem that I don't really want to run in the dark on my own so I will struggle over the winter...sorry from now on really. Think I will have to join a club that runs in the evening and do it that way. Weekends again I run early so that generally I am back before DD wakes up.I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I kept looking but i had nothing interesting to say... so refrained from posting..
not that my employer has got much more work out of me.
Hmmmmmmn running club...... there is one in the town where i work..... depending on what time it met, i could go straight after work.
There is also a personal trainer who does a runners club near where i live but it was £5 a session, and i think i dismissed it as too expensive. i mean, pay for a run! Preposterous!!!
Maybe something to consider though if i want progress, eh?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
