I kept looking but i had nothing interesting to say... so refrained from posting..

not that my employer has got much more work out of me.

Hmmmmmmn running club...... there is one in the town where i work..... depending on what time it met, i could go straight after work.

There is also a personal trainer who does a runners club near where i live but it was £5 a session, and i think i dismissed it as too expensive. i mean, pay for a run! Preposterous!!!

Maybe something to consider though if i want progress, eh?

Too right, I mean most of us are DFW runners because we're too tight/skint to pay to do other sport (says he who pays to do other sport).

Besides, we've got our own new resident expert Rich who I'm sure will tell you what to do to progress if you ask him nicely!

God yeah would love to, but now I have a dd of 3 I don't think its fair to put myself in that danger (possibility of dying just for a thrill and leaving her mummyless). Maybe when she is older..and I am wiser ;)
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

This is the jog scotland group which runs in the town where i work.....

See sessions for this week on monday and wednesdays... well i'm joining them tomorrow night................. i've to be there at 1820 (i finish work at half five so plenty time to change and go straight from work!)

I love you guys... just by posting on here and thinking a little i have solved my own problem, but if you guys weren't here to listen, then i wouldn't actually have tackled the problem head on.....

Big g is okay with me taking the time out from wifely duties as it means i won't get home until after half seven... but if it's only once a week he should be okay with it.
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

The point is you actually WANT to do it! V. Brave.

I'm actually planning on getting a Private Pilot's License in the not too distant future but that holds no fears - and, apparently, a big percentage of pilots are scared of heights.

It's just that bit about having no motor and a lot of emptiness below your feet, plummeting at breakneck speed towards the ground until, hopefully, the chute opens. Yikes!!!
