Hi all need help yet again; 1st family Holiday booked through Thomas Cook to hotel where we were told had unlimited access to SIam Park in Tenerife, cost £3300 for 3 adults and 2 kids. When we arrived and met rep told we were booked on Flexi trip so no tickets available to us. Very disappointed We have returned and complained and sales guy admitted to me and his boss he had said the tickets were included. now it has been 70+ days and no reply from head office who said they are investigating, chased them a dozen times. Any advice please. We asked for compensation to the value of 6 days tickets £900 due to their miss sell0

this is a thread for flight delays - you would be better posting on the main holidays board or the consumer rights board0

Someone please help. My hubby was delayed by 10 hours on his stag do from Luton to Bourgas (Bulgaria) and the airline WIZZ AIR are denying this! Is there anyway I can find out the original time of the flight (I have the number) and the time it actually took off. All of the party were allowed to check in on time and were given vouchers at the airport for food and drink. Tried to phone them but at 77p a minute....... also the airline are saying flight delayed for only 6 minutes. Any suggestions greatly received please.0

We were delayed for over 29 hours in Volos in late July and monarch have rejected our claim because it was 'exceptional circumstances' (fuel leak).
On to round 2 ........ I'm not giving up that easily!0 -

And hopefully thread 2 - Monarch thread :rotfl:0 -
Hi there
I have read thoroughly through the FAQ to try and avoid being a pain and asking a simple question but I can't find the answer.
On my booking confirmation my flight provider is freedom flights, the flight number was KM, does this mean the airline is freedom flights, or Air Malta (which is KM) it was booked as a chartered flight.
I just need to know who to write to to hopefully claim compensation, we were delayed 5 hours each way.
Many thanks for your help.0 -
Hi their, your claim is against Iberia Lineas Aereas De Espana S.A. Operadora Apartado De Correos 36315, 28080, Madrid, Spain. That's the official address to start your correspondence, but they continually fail to answer many times, and cannot be contacted by email. Send everything by Royal Mail and keep Royal Mail printed receipts, and copies of all correspondence issued.
The address to serve legal proceedings in the UK is:- Iberia Airlines, Legal Department, Iberia House, 10 Hammersmith Broadway, London, W6 7AL. Tel:0208 222 8900.
regards Thalia 22
Hi Thalia 22 (and anybody else who can help),
I am about to start a claim against Iberia for a flight from Madrid to London that was delayed more than 12 hours and will use the template on this website. (I have experienced the terrible complaints procedure via their website and will avoid it!!). I am concerned that any letters to the Madrid office will be treated with Spanish contempt. Is there any reason why I could not write to the UK address you have given for legal proceedings? That way, I would be able to use the 'Signed For' postal service.

Re the Claim for flight delay.
Our flight was cancelled when flying from Gran Canaria to Gatwick London June 2009. After hearing on BBC Watchdog programme I was entitled to claim I did put in a claim letter and many, many e-mails. Eventually we received 400 euros for each of our 4 passengers booked on that flight. but not without frustrating delays, e-mails saying that I was using a different e-mail address to the one I originally used (I only have one e-mail address) etc.
It cost me time, patience postage and two expensive telephone calls.
My daughter was also on that flight. She bought her tickets separately. I wrote to EasyJet and after many many e-mails and signing a form saying I could deal with the claim they agreed to pay her 400 euros. I just had to make the expensive call to EasyJet once again, to give them my Bank Account details. I have now spent over half an hour twice telephoning the call centre in India. they say they do not know who I am, do not know who my daughter is, cannot find any flight details. I have run out of options, so even though they SAY she can have 400 Euros, she will not be getting it!!!0
