Fantastic Andy, enjoy the moment and come back and tell us how it feels :T:T:TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

It's done!
OMG, what a feeling it was sat in the bank arranging the CHAPS for the final lump sum. The house is mine, all mine
Off to update the "roll of honour", understand there is one for debt too, so will hunt that down as I am now officially a debt free man!
Sooooo excited! :T
Thank you everyone on here for the support. Even if you haven't directly commented, your posts have likely inspired me.0 -
Congratulations! The house is now forever yours and no one can take it away. What a feeling!Mortgage Jan 13 99260.00 87253 April 2017

Well done Andy, fantastic .

I actually think the guy in the bank was looking jealous by the time he'd finished assessing my "financial situation"
It's something we all dream of, but for me the dream has happened so much earlier than anticipated. Makes all the hard work & planning seem so worthwhile now
Thanks again to everyone here for so much good feeling & inspiration :beer:0 -
Fantastic - must be an amazing feeling!0

Thank you MSE for noticing little old me. It means a lot0 -
Just thought I'd update with something that made me smile yesterday.
A letter arrived from Tesco confirming the lump sum payment, that the account now stood at £0.00 and that I must keep up repayments of £0.00 otherwise my home may be repossessed
I must now pay them nothing or risk losing my home. Hmmmm, OK Tesco, we have a deal :beer:0
