We went to court yesterday. No word of a lie in and out within 5 minutes. We were called in judge asked are you sure what your doing and seek advice etc and then the judge signed of the forms. The longest part was the missus speaking to the judge about normal stuff! Waiting on the OR now but no indication when that will happen though.0

I'm in court in the morning. Bricking it but slightly reassured by the other posts here that it shouldn't be too painful. T minus 10hours. Wish me luck!0

Well, it didn't go very well for me. The clerk kept me waiting for ten minutes. Then we got started. Going through all the forms and my 6.27 wasn't right so she charged me £5 (!!!!!!?) for re-printing it blank and then she went through it all with me again. Sorted.
So then she starts going through the 6.28 SOA forms and we get to the list of creditors and she says she can't proceed because I haven't put addresses or account numbers on for three of my creditors and I shouldn't be putting the original creditor name on the list if it's been passed to an agency for collection it should be the collection agency's details. So I said right I'll google the addresses (as she said that's all was really needed) and she said "no, you'll have to come back for another appointment as I've got someone else to see now. the next one is 12th September". How I kept my cool is beyond me but I argued for ten minutes, pointing out that she kept me waiting then pointed out that if the court staff on the phone had informed me correctly then I would have gone out of my way to find all the details however they said "just fill it in as best you can and don't worry if you haven't got all the details."
Extremely frustrating. Now got to spend the next three weeks having palpitations every time someone comes near the house.

Hi all, I went BR this morning and i just thought i would come on here and say how it went etc.
Firstly i was very nervous! I needn't have been because the girl who dealt with me was very nice and helpful. I did have an appointment booked btw.
After she went through my paperwork and took my cash i was left to wait for ten minutes, She came back and said the judge wanted to see me but all the judge wanted to know was if i had taken advice etc.
Anyway i had a quick call from my OR this afternoon and he seemed uninterested in my car (98 Fiesta) and my bank account (Natwest- not a creditor) but will go into further detail later with me.
All i am trying to say is there is nothing really to be scared or nervous about as long as you have done your research!
I just hope i am not going to have to pay into an IPA now but can only wait and see!
EDIT- This was Leeds CC0 -

:staradmin Hi Everyone and Welcome to the August's 2013 Bankruptcy Club :staradmin
This club is for everyone who has gone or going through the process of Bankruptcy during August 2013. So please feel free to join and post.
Pop your name on here, the date that you went/are going Bankrupt. Then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your BR journey. That way you can all stick together, compare notes and be there to support each other during the different stages of your Bankruptcies.
Remember this is your board so keep posting :hello:
Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help and you are all welcome. Any important questions that need answering please still post them on the main board, as you will receive more advice and help.
~ Please do not include too much information as the IS (Insolvency Service) are known to frequent this forum and they may identify individual cases, so username and date only, thank you ~
Best wishes
