Hi Sherah and welcome to August's BR Club, I've added your name to post 1
Your OR phone call is nothing to worry about, its just for the OR to get a feel why you went BR. Before the call just look through your 6.28/SOA so your familiar with what you have said. The OR will just go through your 6.28/SOA with you. Also before the call have a big mug of tea ready or a bottle of water, and while they are writing things down you can have sips of tea/water, so you don't feel you have to fill in the pauses. And if you don’t know the answer to a question just say so. Do have a list with all questions ‘you’ want to ask. Can last anything from half an hour to an hour and a half. Let us know how you get on.

Here to your new start too

    CONGRATULATIONS.gif

    Best wishes

thanks. I already have one assigned and spoke to her today. she is sending me a pack then is on leave and said it will be a phone interview in early sep. would rather get it out the way. my flat (that I don't live in and don't want) is in court for repossession on Monday. the mortgage company couldn't have been less interested in the bankruptcy when I spoke to them and still wanted to go through income and make a payment. I told them to deal with the receiver. cant wait till they stop calling me.

Right, so we're in court in the morning, I've got our court fees of £700 each, 2 copies of the 6.28 and 6.27 forms (unsigned), ID for opening up a new bank account and some cash for a drink and the train.

Have I forgotten something, is there anything else I need?

So we've done it! Everyone in the process was very nice, we've got to go in to see the OR the week after next for our interviews.

We were able to open a Barclays cash card account each and a joint account, the computer said yes even though Barclays is one of our creditors. Also it looks like we will be getting internet banking, the Barclays lady said it was something they'd introduced in yer last 6 months as it seemed daft not to offer it.

So all in all an ok day, glad it's over and we can finally move on with our lives.
