    more satisfied customers :D my dd has found out it doesnt do to have the marg or butter too hot when you melt it, just do it gently

    i have just had some stewed rhubarb with an oat biscuit crumbled on top, very tasty, would work with apples too

    Yummmmmmm, I just made some with almonds in and drizzled dark chocolate on the top and they are just blooming lush *wanders back into kitchen to 'check' that they are edible* :D

    almonds sound a good idea Nix, never thought of that, i have never frozen them alrewas, you could try a few, they might go soft on thawing but worth a try anyway

    After all these great posts I just had to try these, and yes, I can confirm that they were - oops, I mean are, of course ;) - absolutely delicious. They'd be good to give as a gift too! Thanks Twink!

    true scrimperjan they would look good in a cellophane bag, esp with some almonds in the mix as suggested by Nix
  • Still haven't had another go at these after my disasterous first attempt!

    Truth is I don't have much faith in myself. I'm quite a good cook really and don't want to be the only one who can't make them :o

    Can someone please post a photo of some they've made so I know what to aim for? Pleeeeeze!!!!!!!!!
