I am going to have a go at these .I shall use some honey, as my builder who is working on my house at the moment keeps bees as a hobby and kindly gave me a large jar of his bees honey .0

i have never tried honey Jackie0 but i am sure it would give the biscuits a lovely flavour, they are easy to make, you get a lot from a batch and lovely with a cuppa and whats more they must do us good with the porridge oats in them0

I'll take you at your word for that, twink:DSo it'd be unhealthy not to make (and eat!!) some. After everyone's rave reviews, I'm champing at the bit!
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
I'm going to make some today, what sugar do you advise using? I've got to get it right.
Looking forward to my cuppa later!!!A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
one life, live it!0 -
Healthwise I would say they score points because of a)oats - slow release carb, and b) no additives. I better go and make some more!
Just waiting for Tesco delivery as I used all the marg and then I'm cracking on with them. If I was going to put a bit of dried fruit in (advisable?), would I have to take something else away?0 -
myrtle i just use ordinary granulated sugar and i am not sure about the fruit but worth a try, i thought about the choc chips but put them in at the wrong time
i have been making these for years but they are good for dgs1 before any lengthy exercise as he is diabetic0 -
I too made some of these and they are fantastic. As I have two chocolate lovers in the house I put melted chocolate on the top of some, so I now have plain hobnobs and chocolate hobnobs. Very moreish.0

I was going to put a bit of dried fruit in but chickened out in case they went wrong and didn't taste as good as last time - 'if it's not broken....'0
