And that has, by law, to be 40 hours unless there is good reason for it to be less, e.g. child care commitments. Therefore most people will get 30 hour MWA but if you have agreed, say, to be available for only 20 hours then your MWA would be no more than 15 hours (75% of 20).
I have agreed to 30 hours job search so they are going to have to change that then to 10 hour or so and amend the JSA? You cant apply and look for as many as they want you to in such a short time plus spec letters and the like.
Also on this link http://refuted.org.uk/2013/10/24/workfarecompetition/ it says not all will do the MWAWe’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Working and looking for a job are two separate things and I know people working who are trying to look for a new job but don't have the time.

Reducing a 30 hour search to a 10 one is a big drop of time spent looking for a real jobWe’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
