You didn't answer, why do you think charities aren't getting back to you?

    I shower daily, thanks.

I don't know but I am sure you are going to tell me?

They aren't all charities some are private companies and I have been applying since I lost my job.

hoe long do you think it takes to fill in an application form? The one I did last week took me over 3 hours. I had to write 2,000 words on why I thought I was suited to the role and what interested me in it, plus 500 words about what the company did and then of course fill in the form from scratch.

Applying for jobs is not a 2 minute thing you know as well as sourcing companies to write spec letters to and send CVs

Plus there are over 30 websites I use and they take hours to search all the job listed and read the specs.

I don't get who you are trying to convince? Almost all the people reading this forum has applied for jobs, they know how long it takes, it can take 40 hours a week but funny enough there are many more hours than that in a week. 40 hours job searching 8 hours volunteering, wollah you have something to put on your CV and can talk about at an interview.

Oh that would be funny if you did.

Makes no difference where I live at all.

You must seriously think the people out of work on here make things up

I am out of this one and going to get the Mod's to close the thread as its off topic totally.

Yes, because millions job seek whilst in full time work. There is no formal structure to job seeking.

You only have to look on this board that spending 30 hours a week looking for a job is impossible because you can do it in a fraction of that time.
What a load of old tosh.

You can't generalise about people & their situation.

Don't compare one group with another, because they are not the same.
  • Charities etc are rude as they don't/won't always get back to you yet they accept the forced labour in many cases
  • Taking accurate shots tbh
