no victim playing. simply pointing out that you have been caught out with a contradiction.

No I haven't, either you are misinterpreting or you are intentional trying to mislead. Going by your reputation on here I'm inclined to be the latter.

Struggle in the workplace? LOL Like we have never worked.

I have applied also for over 50 volunteer roles in the last 6 months too - no replies
they agree from day one it becomes very difficult and then claimed if you are out of work its your choice.

Ask any teacher what students are like the first day back from the summer holidays. People after a long gap of doing nothing fall into that habit. Some will be fine starting Monday at 9, others would struggle and take a while to get into the right mindset. All 'costs' which a recruiter doesn't have to take.

Right, so you can't even give your time away for free? Do charities hate the unemployed too?

You get more insulting as you go on, many charities already have forced labour from the WP

So job seeking is doing nothing?

Yes, because millions job seek whilst in full time work. There is no formal structure to job seeking.

You only have to look on this board that spending 30 hours a week looking for a job is impossible because you can do it in a fraction of that time.

Id say the same about women on maternity leave too goodness only knows how they manage!

I have even said to companies take me on for a week for free so I can prove it.

I am telling you I have applied to over 50 believe what you like. You must be thinking there is only one person apply to each charity job?

Plus its not just charities that advertise for volunteers

Yes, and that is why they have phased returns, or 'pop in days' during their leave to keep up to speed. Thank you for proving my point.

I believe you, I also believe you attitude in general stinks and is your biggest obstacle to finding employment. Of course it can't possible be that because you never get interviews etc etc.

Why do you think you can't get a a charity gig? It can't be because you are unemployed or you are overqualified, so what is your thinking?

Attitude? How does the recruiter know what that is from my CV?

You seem to be the only one here with one that stinks

hoe long do you think it takes to fill in an application form? The one I did last week took me over 3 hours. I had to write 2,000 words on why I thought I was suited to the role and what interested me in it, plus 500 words about what the company did and then of course fill in the form from scratch.

Applying for jobs is not a 2 minute thing you know as well as sourcing companies to write spec letters to and send CVs

Plus there are over 30 websites I use and they take hours to search all the job listed and read the specs.

One can read attitude from text.

You didn't answer, why do you think charities aren't getting back to you?

    I shower daily, thanks.
