    LCD?

Why do you think no one at all ever asks these questions too?

What about the WP advisor asking me 'Why are you here'?

Why can you accept that people do say if you are not working we will not interview you regardless of experience?

If you got interviews at the beginning and not now its the length of time out of work for sure.

Can not get a job offer if you can not get an interview.

Biscuit? I laughed and said no FD would ever ask such a stupid question (oh yes there was the 'what animal would you be too) but she made us all answer so I said a Viscount as it was a classic British biscuit with many layers/flavours :)
    Lowest common denominator.

If you read the post again, perhaps you'll I don't think no one at all ever asks those questions.

They probably thought why is someone who they perceive not to be LCD there

Sure the ratio will get less as time goes on.

Sure, but then you'd question all the application process prior to interview.

The WP was meant to be TAILOR MADE FOR THE INDIVIDUAL and it never was only as you have put the LCD and I did tell them that when they said 'we can not help you' after they asked 'Why are you here' after meeting me for 5 minutes and seeing my CV and references. I also know I am not the lowest common denominator.

Then LCD or not advice should have been given to everyone as to what to do next.

Last job feedback I got was

I’m handling the shortlisting process on behalf of ***. We’ve had an overwhelming response to this advertisement which has afforded us the chance to purely focus on progressing candidates who are currently working.
There’s nothing lacking in your experience but it’s purely due to the fact that we have more applicants who are in work currently.
We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com
  • An interviewer asking if you're flexible enough to work overtime and/or hours to suit business needs is quite a common question. As is asking about transport. From these two questions alone the employer can form an opinion on whether the applicant is likely to turn up on time and support business requirements. If you perceive those questions as 'always being interviewed for a different job' I'd suggest it's you that has the attitude problem.

Still I suppose you know what you're doing and although I don't know you I'd take a wild guess you've been out of work for some time with nothing on the horizon any time soon. But let's not be too pragmatic, otherwise some folk would take truths as insults.

Another troll post with nothing useful plus no evidence of reading my comment and then in a later post you twist my comment

A boss is bossed by the employees in your world are they? No wonder you see no problem withthe WP
  • One can only imagine what comments may come when the process gets more robust.

When the process gets more robust?
What do you think they Job Centre will do that they currently don't?

Don't think you answered either- do you have any knowledge or opinion on Universal Credit?

Typical response from someone who doesn't want their 'issues' resolved at all but chooses to raise them when it suits an agenda.

The advisor may well have been giving an opportunity for the claimant to show their commitment to job seeking in readiness for the changes in April.

IF I had any issues relevant to this discussion, I wouldn't want them 'resolved' by you. Not unless you do something about your appalling tone at any rate.

I was just trying to ensure that donnajunkie didn't give you any ammunition.

You know, sometimes you have to face facts, burying head in sand doesn't work. Of course some will perceive that as appalling tone because they don't want to hear certain things.

They're already adept at doing that themselves without having someone follow them round babysitting.

Oh I agree with the facing facts bit. I have no problem with your advice. Its your delivery that stinks. However, I have already pointed this out to you and you are carrying on regardless. Its a !!!!!! isn't it - trying to give out advice when the other person isn't listening :)
  • WP was designed to be individual help instead it's just about making money again and repeating the same errors from other failed schemes

Are you receiving Nectar points for posting on this thread? For one can only think this is the main reason you spend so much time on here. You really are coming across as a repetitive bore.

Since you like to offer 'advice' (stop laughing at the back) and you claim to be able to offer interviews, just what do you do for a living?
