The attitude of claiming a course or action is pointless despite failing to find work long term suggests it's the job seeker that's pointless in terms of what they're achieving.

The attitude of not being able to understand why they are unable to find work without resorting to blaming systems, policies, processes and procedures yet never considering the problem may lie with the applicant, their actions, their CV and their whole attitude to finding work.

The attitude that the same "pointless course" serves no useful purpose except enabling a claimant with bad attitude to claim cash from the government.

There'll always be those that continue to make excuses for they types I've referred to and hide them amongst those who have a better attitude and at least come across as making a genuine effort. Hopefully the imminent stricter regime may weed some of these out the system.

For your info it is about the money but also about the negative mindset of LT unemployed....the types that complain about having to do this, that, the other despite failing to find work for years. There's a lot who view the courses as pointless because they are there as a way to make money or to punish people for being unemployed and they are of no help and can be a hindrance
The WP made no difference to a persons chances and removed tin from job seeking etc

Many of those claiming courses, WP etc are pointless are the same people who have failed to find work. The same people who don't demonstrate they've done anything productive in terms of finding work. The same people who cite systems, govt, procedures etc are to blame for their failure to find work.

To be frank, the only good that comes out of the WP is it keeps the WP employees off the unemployed list - and they know it.

This would be the same 98% who, before going on WP failed to demonstrate they've done anything productive in terms of finding work. Still the same people who cite systems, govt, procedures etc are to blame for their failure to find work. The same 98% who work so hard to avoid considering there may be an underlying reason that involves taking a look at themselves and why they fail to find work whilst others succeed.
