HOWEVER we then get to this bit A degree and/or strong A-Level results (A-C grades) in numerical subjects this to me then stops it being a junior role.
Serious question do employers now need degrees or strong A levels for the junior positions? It highlights a flaw in my CV I don't even have A levelsdoes this mean I now won't even be considered for junior roles  I am aware of this shortcoming and like I said earlier I asked the JC if I could do a college course but was told no. The JC are only interested in people obtaining the equivalent A-C GCSE in maths and english. I already have these but I don't think its enough these days and it seems you are not allowed to better yourself more

As long as no one is rude/abusive (which I haven't seen any evidence off) then I think its good to hear all points of view.0

Thanks, my friend is on ESA and she taking medication and her GP wrote support letter ,she also on DLA but been put on ESA warg in past few years ,she use2 be with work program and the lady from work program used2 call her by phone sometimes she didnt need go there , but now she worried about jobcentre and her advisor is worse person u ever imagine she dont know what to do now,can she ask to be sent back to work program again?0 -

I do agree that some of the courses are stupid, for those who have never been on one then it is hard to describe how demeaning they are to a person with an ounce of intelligence.
For the benefit of the employed I will give an example, I had to sit through a DVD following two people as they prepared for an interview, one dressed smartly, one wore jeans and trainers, one had an early night, one went to the pub the night before (you get the gist). I do not need to watch a DVD to explain to me why one person got the job over the other.
What I do on these courses is sit quietly through the crap and when I get the opportunity grab the person in charge to ask questions specific to me (a query with my CV for example), I have found that some of them are quite helpful certainly more so than the JC advisers.0 -

Thanks is she doing an evening course? I will look into it further I need to speak to someone (not a advisor) to find what what the actual rules are regarding courses.0 -

Oh please. People are.'attacking' people who happen to be unemployed. That isn't the same as attacking the unemployed. You're proving their point. Blaming everyone else and refusing to take personal responsibilty.0 -

.
That to me is very offensive and I told them so!
