One for retail, one for admin/accounts and one or senior accounts.

I tailor the cover letter for every role a cover letter the JC advisor says you do not need!! LOL

No idea why I'd need more than 3 CV's

Maybe on the 4th CV I take off all the accounts experience I have and have an empty CV

That's 3 types of job role you're meant to be applying for anything you capable of doing. So would one of those cvs fit a warehouse job. Care role. Call centre. Civil service job...no!!!! that's why I said tailor it.

I don't know you tell me how a 20 years accounts background fits a warehouse job? Take all the accounts background off and hide my AAT?

It must be very easy to get a job with no experience in that field?

Oh I have applied for admin and accounts in the civil service but you know you fill in a form and its not a CV.

And let me look at my JSA - erm 4 types of jobs there.

There is one and only one reason you're unemployed and it's you attitude.

Ps the jobs on your jsag are goals you can be matched to anything your capable of doing. Ie warehouse jobs which are obviosly too lowly for someone with an aat lol.

You're restricting yourself and you'll be saying hello to an RE sanction soon enough unless you change you highand mighty attitude

    Too da loo

I thought I was unemployed as I lost my job! lol

Attitude? On a CV? I am sure there is no attitude on a CV and after all that's all the employer sees when you do not get shortlisted!

Yeah I will be sure to let you know when that happens

    PS
I never added admin and retail as any goal it was added by the JC as something I have to apply for which included customer services, admin, all forms of retail accounts, payroll etc.

Never said anything was too lowly for me I asked how do you make a professional CV with 20 years accts exp fit a picking job for a warehouse?

Maybe ask someone else here with no accounts exp if they are applying for accounts roles? I mean you need no experience to do it surely as a junior role.

  • Order picking in a warehouse, transferable skills:

Methodical, good attention to detail, a quick learner, organised, able to prioritise workload.

There you go, a few transferable attributes. If you'd have applied to work in the post office sorting mail over Xmas you'd have been able to add a few others on it too. It'd be better than nothing.

Job seeking or job applications? I always thought both were not the same thing.
