I have not mentioned about ones I have applied for via the UJM account/CV.
I keep asking where are these jobs shown on the application history and I get that reply. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
No they would not. I am talking about 3rd party jobs where the APPLY button takes you to another site. You do not apply with the CV on the UJM but for example have to log in to Totaljobs or similar.
I don't know what bit of this some of you are not getting.
You are obviously talking about jobs where you hit apply and you use the CV on the UJM site, yes? Not a 3rd party site at all.0 -

3rd party job advert where you hit apply and apply via another site are not in application history at all. Someone else here has confirmed that too. Tthey are not in activity or application as they are on another site that's not the UJM.
Also unless I do a search that I have set up as a search option ie a skills search already loaded, it doesn't even say I have searched the site.
I have applied for one job and it says this
Application history
Review your applications to check the status of a CV, track your progress and request feedback from employers. You can also make notes about each application to help you remember details, names and other important information. These notes will not be made visible to employers.

i manage to find at least 1 or 2 everyday. so i know if they ever try to accuse me of not applying for jobs all i have to do is print out my application history. they cant exactly dispute what their own site says. i only registered at the end of june and i have almost 170 jobs applied for in my application history.0 -
donnajunkie wrote: »yes we know if you go to another site and apply there that it isnt recorded on ujm but when the apply button point was brought up it was specifically to talk about the apply button on ujm. sometimes when you hit the apply button on ujm you just get taken to another site but mostly you dont. that is why i said look for jobs on there with an apply button if you want to have something recorded on there as that is your best bet.

And like I keep saying jobs with the APPLY buttons mean nothing if they take you to a 3rd party site and all the ones I have seen do this! So they are not recorded anywhere which makes the site !!!! as jobs on Reed, Totaljobs etc are all recorded in your account even if you get re directed to another sire from Reed etc.0
