considering how much time you spend jobsearching you have been very unlucky to not come across any with an apply button that get recorded in your application history.
Because..................most of the jobs I would apply for either say the email address on there as the employer wants the CV and a cover letter of they are all agency jobs advertised elsewhere. Also that's how I have been using the site with no account as I told the JC you don't need one to apply to a lot of jobs.

The apply button is a link that takes you to these sites.

I bet the JCA's have no idea why these jobs don't get recorded but I may ask her next week if she knows.

Here are the top 8 from top 200 advertisers on UJM, all external jobs boards or aggregators which collect jobs & bulk upload them to UJM.

They are responsible for 200,000+ jobs advertised on UJM.

All these jobs will not be recorded on UJM Apply button, except those by CIT (where they expect you to apply via external link in ad).

    Adzuna (15943)
Agency Central Limited (Job Warehouse) (10485)
    CIT (32157)
CV Library (Job Warehouse Only) (63438)
    Job Board Enterprises (13688)
    Jobs.co.uk (35147)
    Monster (Job Warehouse) (21514)

And as previously reported by me on here and to the JC ALL ADZUNA jobs were once showing as being in LONDON!!!

I showed the JCA over 10,000 jobs all in London and made her click on 3 to see where they took her and where they were actually in the UK!

The JC do not care as I have reported them but its the stupid UJM that allow them to post all jobs with SW1A 1AA postcode

    Buckingham Palace!!

The JC staff don't know & don't care, they are looking after themselves & their jobs.

Oh but they should care. These advisors should not have to be told by the likes of me what jobs are on the UJM and who ADZUNA are and that they are flooding the site etc.

Of all the ones I reported to the UJM site for not being in London I heard back on erm...............NONE!!

    Just to add

I clicked the APPLY on the CV Library link and it has sent me an email saying

You recently applied for the position Assistant Management Accountant on CV-Library. You have successfully completed the first stage of the application process. To complete your application you must fill in the recruiter's online application form (if you have not done so already).

Click here to complete your application now

This has appeared in my CV Library acct as a job application so if all other sites can do this, why I wonder can the UJM not!

Probably for the same reason there's no cover letter

That it's a terrible site and a waste of money other then how much it saves via sanctioning people

My comment about why there is not was sarcasm as its 100% proof some twit asked the team at Monster to make a site with a list of things it could do and forgot these other things and like any company would do, they just did what the UJM people asked and took the ££

Like my old company went from using Agresso 5.4 to Nav

Now see it had the Financial Director, Head of IT and a management accountant on the team who met with the Nav people.

It got so far along the line and then some smart person asked 'so where is the patrol arm of Nav' - oh that's right Nav doesn't have one! Oh oops. Lets make payroll redundant then and pay for it to be outsourced! LOL

The interface & job application logging would go other way, from external job boards back to UJM.

External job boards have no real interest in logging their job applications on UJM.

Each one would have to develop an interface back to UJM.

Of course they don't have problem advertising on UJM, as I assume they advertise for free & DWP/Jobcentre magically get UJM full of 10s of thousands of jobs.

The politics is more important than whether it works well in real world
