I've spent the past 2 days working through my accounts and although I still have some to do I'm going to prioritise getting my TC phonecall in later today. ;)

DD is still on flying duty. She's now appreciating her chore list is just "wash dishes, make bed, help mum with work (and get £5 "wages" per campaign) and the occasional odd job". I don't think she'll be moaning again about being asked to wash a small batch of dishes. ;)

one of our early holidays i put the case on the bed and said to toddler DD1 put what you want to take on holiday in the case, she promptly climbed in it:rotfl:
funniest one the girls wont let him forget was DS1 packed his own case at about 3/4 years old, i looked through it afterwards and found 6 pairs of assorted slippers some too small some too big. DD3 asked why he'd packed 6 pairs of slippers and he replied "because i couldn't find any more!" Thing was he never wore slippers at home anyway:rotfl: any time DS1 needs to pack a case now one of his sisters has to ask how many pairs of slippers hes taking;)

House is a mess but I've got to start somewhere and as this was ready boxed and sorted it is going first.

  • San Miguel and Sauvignon Blanc do not mix well - bleurgh

Having a day off with DD whilst DS is away at a sleepover. We're going into town to buy popcorn and pop and then settling down to watch Les Mis and Wreck it Ralph. The DVD and TV remotes in DS's room have been missing for ages, so we played "hunt the techie stuff" this morning and now have a fully-functioning mobiles, kindles, TV's and all manner of things. Life in the fast lane, eh?

Flying-wise - bathroom, lounge and kitchen have been mopped and HHA in the study making various appointments for August. Floordrobes have been tackled but not enough to stick the WM on.

I will be having a potter-flying-potter-flying type day today. Can't seem to focus on any one thing, so this will work best for me I reckon.

    Hello everyone

I have been so busy this week trying to keep up with the lists I forgot to come on and document my progress.:o I'm just following Thursdays list and wondering what HHI is?

Finally the house is beginning to look better. I have been bleaching the grouting in the bathroom today, have cleared the desk of clutter, picked up all the stuff off the floor in the two reception rooms and now need to go and clear the bits off the stairs which have built up recently. Also I need to complete the jobs on the list for Thursday.

I was getting a bit lost with the jobs list so have printed it off and keep it in view.

I do need to get some kind of organisation going to keep me on track, especially with paperwork.

I really hope I can stick with this once I go back to work in September, I feel like a weight is being lifted.

    Have a nice day all.:)

    HHI is half hour ironing

(All abbreviations are explained in Post 1, I believe)

I have done HHI and that's it...

Piggers that's lovely. I started one of those blankets once.

    I knitted one square :rotfl:
