Mine will be 16 on Friday!

I hear 2 girls bouncing on the sofa... they sound like they are having a wonderful time... if I go in there I'll have to tell them off.. I might just ignore them and enjoy their squeals of laughter..

OH taking Squeak ice skating this afternoon and he is off to sword class tonight and will be back about 2/3ish as they are going out for food afterwards.. being home alone for 10 hours sounds like tempting baby-fate lol... I am so busy this weekend it would be appalling timing...

    2x WM on..

I'm having a cuppa then going to vacuum upstairs.. and throw lots of stuff in the bin.. I am REALLY fed up of the mess in here.. Oh.. and someone let the senile cat out of the kitchen so he has $h!t in the backroom AGAIN!!! I need to make his not-so-senile brother a vet appointment too.. he has a 'thing' on his back which needs lancing..

I'm considering booking a couple of days away with the chimps next week.. I'll only have the tiddlers and DD2 and DS3 .. the others are all away with church..

LameWolf he's another little staffy, same colouring as our big staffy. Kids know nothing so it should be a big surprise come sunday. :j

I've done some charity work phone calls, lifted DS1 from football, brushed all hard floors, watered polytunnel, 2nd load washing, dw loaded and on, beds made, worktops cleared/cleaned and table done too.

Plan now is to get a few things up on gumtree.

I've spent the day washing and folding the very quickly drying washing that can come off the line quicker than if I put it in the TD.

DS3 and DD2 have done a very good job on their bedroom. I've washed the bedding and it's already back on the bunk beds (see above).

My intended afternoon of babysitting didn't happen so thats a few £££s lost. We are off to swimming lessons in a minute. DD2's lesson is cancelled because her tutor is ill. We are going to go in the fun pool while DS2 has his lesson.

DH is away tonight. It's the first time since he was unwell. I'm worried but relieved he's only had to drive to B1rm1ingham. He'll be home tomorrow.

Vanilla - how lovely for the kids. They will be over the moon!

Am home, paid stuff done for week. Only 2 more working days :T

I'm so tired I have just flopped on my bed. DS is on a trip and not back till 5 so I'll collect the, both at same time. They are done at nursery now until 19th Aug. So need to make sure I bring everything home, including library cards...

I will probably have an early night tonight, with my main job to write a list of what needs to be done before we leave. There is fridge emptying, grass cutting, moving bins to other side of house, making everything secure etc. I have packing to consider, and some cards to bung in post. Oh and call my brother, I seem to have missed him the last few weekends.

I feel all in a spin. But, in one weeks time, we shall be in a lovely hotel, in Ibiza, with no cooking or cleaning to think about, and only to decide between pool or sea for swimming :D
