  • Good morning all, my list for today as I changed bed on Sunday before I joined you lovlies.

Wishful Wednesday ~ Mystical Master Bedroom & Limpid Landing

Vacuum floor in bedrooms and on landing
Sort out your makeup and toiletries if you didn't do this last week..
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs about
    Change cushion covers
take charity bag from yesterday to shop
put bin out so can be empty for next item
chop up all branches and cuttings from last weeks pruning and put in bin
    Clean windows in these rooms
Sort one drawer, making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed
Wipe tops of door frames, even if just what you can do in 5 minutes

This is going to be harder when I go back to work, but at least all the big things should be done (including some frogs!) and I should be on a maintenance plan. Have a nice day all ....

Have cleaned kitchen, hung out washing and put towels in to wash. Think I'm feeling a bit manic after a horrid night. Didn't get a break for the whole 12.5 hours . Lovely team on duty thou and lovely pts and families which makes bad nights a little easier.
Pigpen, can't wait to see the finished blanket, where's the pattern from and what kind of border are you gng to knit?

Most of the PE kit purchased, Tried blazers on, going to order some on line and troussers which are my biggest problem for DS3.

Baking cake next and putting washing on the line then I must hoover and mop downstairs.

DS3 and DD2 are clearing out their room. They want friends to come and play tomorrow and I've told them this will not happen until the room is done.

Bins all emptied and disinfected. 2 loads of washing on the line.

I helped DS2 with his room yesterday. The so and so hasn't finished it off (wiping paintwork, dewebbing and hoovering). I'm furious with him because he's lost the bag I gave him with the suit I bought for SD's wedding. The suit didn't fit and the receipt was in the bag. I cannot afford to take a financial hit at the moment. I'm on half pay for the summer hols because I've reduced my hours. Every penny is vital.

mmm post #134 looks suspiciously like #112 - think we are about to be spammed.

    anyway

washing on line. Ironed last night so that needs putting away. have brought teaspoons from work to 'live' in my DW for a few days. One day just won't be enough;) (yeuch).

Need to compile a summer list.

Need to sort out my strawberry runner pots as I wil remove all the plants this year, improve the bed and level it a bit and pur some new ones in.

The imminent water shortage has been averted - my almost-empty 210l butt is brimming!

e mail from boss - he's going to look at the timetable again. I can solve it by swapping two duties over (for two other people) meaning they'll do their own and I'll do 2 a week;). Mind you, 'jigsawing' timetables together so they all work is always a challenge.

Does this mean there will be no forum ALL weekend??

Forum downtime: the MSE forum will be read only this weekend from 5pm, Friday 26 July

I've booked to go away for the weekend, I kid you not :rotfl::T

So have we. Just come off the phone after booking a Surfers Hostel in Scarborough for me and the kids. They do surfing lessons too and DD is the only one of us not to have tried it so that's another birthday pressie sorted. Desperate for a break.

Wasn't around yesterday as I was at Job 1 until 4.30 pm, came home and changed and then had to drive to work and start Job 2 at 5pm. Was utterly exhausted when I got home at 10.30 and found MIL had arrived unexpectedly from Manchester to give DD her Birthday presents. Thank goodness I did some flying on Monday

After only 1 shampoo with Flea or Die, DD is nit free :j:j:j I checked her again this morning and there was not even an egg, so I have just booked hair appts for her and DS for this afternoon. She wants a grown-up style as she is going to be 10, bless her.

Right, back to flying. Our bedroom is okay, so I think I'll strip DD's bed and get freshened up in there and hoover around.

LW if they are clothes you love will there not be high days holidays and days MrLW works later or things you will ear in evenings. i can hear in your posts they are outfits you love so why upset yourself further. unless its the frustration of having them but being unable to wear them thats upsetting you.
Yep, that's about how it is. I suppose they're not eating anything, and I'm not in dire need of the space - I just hope this silly nonsense with my shoulders subsides soon; it's really getting me down, and the medical bods are as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.

I've doused the loo in vinegar today, in the hope of blasting the limescale that's threatening to return - one advantage of Mr LW being at work is I can leave it for a good long time to do its work;) Other than that, I shall once again just do little bits of Flying as I feel able. Gotta be better than nothing, yes?:o

Egg salad for dins again; Mr LW assures me he's not fed up with salad.:D

Piggers I too would like to see the finished blanket, in due course.:o
