Just come in from picking up DS from nursery, and decided to take a walk with the double pushchair with DS and DD4 down the local footpath to the local Pick your Own Farm, accompanied of course by the dutiful DD3 to stop me freaking out in case of hoardes of people.

Had about a 3 mile round walk I reckon, although I haven't checked online to be sure.

Although the raspberries were cheap enough DD3 managed to drop picked fruit into the double buggy (she kept taking her glasses off ) which then got squished into the seat under DD4 chair.....It is going to cost me more in stain removers to get it out than the fruit cost!!!

Apart from that flying today consists of my bed lined fed to WM at stupid oclock, DD3 was asked to PEG OUT while I took DS to nursery, but somehow this translated to bung in TD and cost me a fortune......heaven help me I don't think I can afford 6 weeks of DD3's help.....I may just have to resign myself to the Skint Pitz and have a few more pennies in my purse.:money:

In other matters, the passports have all arrived and they are correct....now to see if I can get a holiday for the school holidays on my Mr T Clubc@rd vouchers avoiding A level results day so I have DD2 to come with me and help (I would like to think I wouldn't freak out on a plane, but I suspect if I end up flying on the first plane out of the airport before ther terminal got very busy and had DD2 with me, it might just be do-able.

Now to scour the website to see if I can get anything that is in price-range (2 adult Skints and 3 young Skints for £760 in August, is going to be a big ask).

After speaking to the makers of F!n!sh Quantumatic the other day to find they cannot supply me with a dispenser for my find in the 99pee shop, I received £15 worth of coupons to use on their other products......result :money: and I am waiting to get some dispensers off Eb@y, so once I have tested the dispensers work, I will go back to said Bargain shop and clear the shelves (if they have any left :money::money::money:)

Oh well, time to get in Daisy-mode, then have a good look at Listy to see what I can cross off, and what still needs to be done (for shame I think the list to do is still very long :o )
The cold never bothered me anyway

Piggers, you can do as much or as little as you like.....in this heat carrying mini Piggers, flying shouldn't really be much more than getting up to turn a fan on (and the gubbins blows where it blows :D )

I have managed to empty 1 washing machine into a basket and refill the washer..

    Dw emptied and refilled too

OH has gone out .. he'll be back about 2am I think and dinner is cooked.. then the tiddlies can be flung in bed.. and I shall watch rubbish on iplayer and eat haagen dazs and sew the blanket together.. and get the border started

DD2 shall be commanded to empty and reload DW when she gets in.

I want a day off.. actually, I just want the inhabitant evicted

f***.... OH has gone out and not made up juice for the littlies... the juice is on top of the kitchen wall units.. bloody marvellous...

DS trip was back 90min late

Then we had to wait for the register before taking our children home... I'd already been home once, dunked DD and took her back in her nightie :o (they said call at 5.45 to see if they're back, but no one was answering )I'm a bit narked too, as I'd been to get his bag and despite them repeatedly telling us on trip days each child needs a labelled rain jacket, a labelled water bottle, hat and sunscreen. And what do you suppose was in his bag whilst he was off on a bus to some farm somewhere??? Honestly, that nursery is like my @rse these days :(

    [/rant]

So other than quickly scrub him down in the bath and get them both a drink and quick snack, I've done bog all. Pfft. Tonight was supposed to be relaxing.

Piggers, can I share your icecream please? X

Well I've been staggering along with flying in between paid stuff. DH has vacuumed and ironed, I've been swishing & swiping so it doesn't look too bad but the weekend will be "catch up on everything that's left" time!

I'm thoroughly miffed with work! If we achieve certain targets, we get an annual bonus, in a tiered system. We were told that, due to the high number of leavers, we won't make the top tier. We've addressed the issue of the sign up team taking on anyone & everyone to try to avoid the same problem next year. We were told we were well on track for the middle tier, but then had an email saying bring in as many "fast tracked" as you can because the middle tier was in jeopardy, so I've been slogging away at marking, referencing, arranging appointments etc to try to bring several more in by next Tuesday. I get a call from my line manager saying the lead tutor (her sister) has called to say I should have been delivering a workshop in Monmouth, where was I. I apologised profusely, saying that, according to an earlier email, I was no longer required (aside from the fact I'm an assessor not a tutor). I was told it was too late to do anything about it and the learners had been sent home. I felt positively sick and thought I'd be in for a rocket when I go into the office for our monthly team meeting tomorrow. Then I checekd my emails and found the one that clearly states someone else was asked to cover it and I would no longer be required! I forwarded it to my Line manager but did i get an apology? No, because I now have a lower than normal case load after bringing in so many completions, so could still have done it! And we still don't know whether we have done enough to make the middle tier bonus! I will definitely NOT be doing any overtime just for a bonus for next year!!! Rant over!

Knitting time, methinks, as I need to chill.

Hope everyone is doing OK. Hugs, sticks and spoons PRN. Goodnight and God bless. xxx
