Not healthy whatsoever, but i just sprinkle sugar on it.0 -
Haven't made pop corn for years, the children used to love it.
Another NSD today although DH did ask twice if we were going to A$da but I held out as it would have just been on items we didn't really need.
For tea we had lamb stew (done yesterday in sc) with gnocchi. Have never had gnocchi before and this was from A1di (Been in a while so thought had better use it). Wasn't too impressed with the gnocchi but think may have needed a minute or two longer however I am going to make some myself to compare.MARCH £62.38/2500 -

We have some toffee sauce, that I picked up from the ice cream toppings section that we put on top of popcorn, you don't need much and it's so tasty!GC Sept '13: £249.05/£250, NSDs: 9/7!! :j

Happy Birthday! :j:j:j
Have had a few spends this week
7th Sept - 42p in Co$stcutter
7th Sept - £3.90 in Mr W
10th Sept - £3.14 in Mr S
11th Sept - £1 in Iceland
On Sunday I didn't end up doing tapas so instead had a Chorizo, pancetta and pepper pasta dish - was gorgeous (don't have these sort of foods often!)
Today I had the black pudding/morcilla in a pasta dish and well...it was interesting. Lets just say I ate it, but I'm glad I don't have any more to use up. Had to have a hot chocolate afterwards to get rid of the aftertaste.Generally I think I cook pretty okay meals, but if you don't try you never know I guess...
Meals this week have been/will be:
Monday (housemate cooked): Cajun chicken with roasted tomatoes and onions served with couscous
Tuesday (I cooked): Chicken and Mushroom stir fry with ginger/chilli/garlic/fish sauce/soy sauce served with rice
Wednesday (I cooked): Morcilla, mushroom, tomato pasta (urrgh!)
Thursday (I will cook): Chicken in a red wine sauce with mash and broccoli
Friday (housemate will cook): TBA
Saturday (housemate will cook): TBA
Hope everyone is well!Grocery Challenge Jan 24 0/300
