Oo my grill doesnt work looks like im buying a slow cooker and a george foreman lol
If your grill doesn't work I would recommend getting a george foreman first, slow cookers are great but everything can be done in the oven. I hated having to put the oven on just for sausages etc and they took ages to cook in it. Make sure you get one big enough there are two of us (me and six year old), I have a four person one, anything smaller wouldn't be suitable. Don't pay full price have a look around I am always seeing them on offer in various places. Also recommend you buy one you can see (or see it first before getting online) so you can gauge the size.0 -

thats a good point I better start to get an item or two every week for Christmas now (or a least put a few quid aside each week) so I don't have a big expensive. I will include in budget but note it separately I think.0 -

Just a month at a fiver if you sign up before 16/9 (think it is), then it goes up to £8. Mines says it expires on 30/9 so I'm assuming unlike Mr T it doesn't automatically renew.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 Jul £134.25/£150 Aug £119.37/£150 £92.09/£150‼️Sep £/£160 Oct (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Hi all!
Bought some apples off a neighbour today - £1.00 for a bag of about 15 from her tree. We are quite lucky in our street, we all grow different things and put notes outside our front door with various bits for sale and keep it cheap. Another lady sells gorgeous dog biscuits (they are suitable for humans too, so I've tried them) for about £1.00 for 20 and livercake too for my pup, another does jam, I am going to grow my rhubarb and beans properly next year and do the same I think! You wouldn't look at it for our street but its lovely.
So, thats enough for OH lunches and might go back and grab another bag for apple pie and freeze it. Bargain,
However, today came home from work feeling rubbish and am desperate for comfort food and takeaway - particularly pizza which sucks as I am still not eating dairy to test the levels of intolerance. I do have a homemade curry with rice and a leftover naan though so fingers crossed that will fill a whole and get rid of this damn cold.
Going out for dinner tomorrow paid for by OH grandpa so nice treat for us both - as long as I'm feeling up to it!
